  1. So I redid the tubing in my case a little bit. The biggest change was from the 140mm rad to the CPU block and the CPU block to the 360mm rad up top using 90 degree fittings and I was wondering what you thought?
  2. So I have the colors set the way I like the way they look in Nvidia's control panel and all is well and good. However sometimes when I open full screen applications (such as overwatch) the color settings change and all the colors look wrong. when I close overwatch the colors remain wrong but when I open Nvidia's control panel again slightly adjust anything, the colors snap back the way they were, but if I open overwatch again, they go back to the (i believe) stock settings. I'm not sure what I should do to fix the situation but any help would be appreciated.
  3. Or would they do something like cherry MX reds? or use a different key switch for low-noise keystrokes?
  4. So I was wondering if I use a noctua LNA (Low Noise adapter) on a be quiet! silent wings 3 (140mm) what would then be the RPM of that fan? The fan normally runs at 1000 rpm. Is there a simple formula to use to find out for other fans too?
  5. So every time I boot up my computer I get this image that pops up, its set to windows volume X and it starts normally (its volume X because every time I boot it up, it has a different number on it), if I select the plain windows it doesn't boot properly. I was installing windows on a new SSD for my laptop a few weeks ago using this computer and ever since then there are now two boot options for windows. Is there any way to remove the non useful one so it just boots normally without this screen? If you need any clarification I'll do my best to do so
  6. I currently have two monitors connected to my computer (using an MSI GTX 980) one of the monitors is connected through DVI-D dual link and the other using display port. Whenever I turn on my computer however the display port monitor turns on temporarily and then says "Going to power save mode". Then the DVI monitor turns on, shows the option to go into the BIOS and then the windows logo and then the login screen for windows, all the while the display port monitor remains off. The only way to fix this is to unplug the DP cable from the computer and plug it back in and only then will both the displays be working until I turn the computer off again and i have to do it all over again. If any of you have suggestions I would love to hear them!
  7. Got done doing that, little more complicated than I thought, but it works again now! thank you very much!!
  8. So do I just uninstall the drivers to my GPU and just reinstall them? That simple? I apologize about my lack of knowledge to this stuff, I'm pretty new to higher end PC gaming
  9. My current rig is CPU: i5 6600k (oc 4.6GHz) water cooled (even when not over clocked the problem is still there) GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 980 4GD5T (I believe this may be the problem) RAM; 32GBs of Corsair Vengence DDR4 @ 2400Mhz (4 x 8) Motherboard: GA-Z170-HD3P Storage: SAMSUNG 950 PRO M.2 512GB The problem is when I run games. If I run any demanding game (specifically anything with physX) the game just stops, doesn't crash it just remains frozen on the screen. For example, if I run Borderlands 2 on high physX, the moment I shoot a gun it just freezes forever on the bullet decals. I can run less demanding games like Fallout 3 for a solid 20 minutes but then does the same freeze problem at some point. I think the problem has to do with using MSI afterburner. after I started playing with stuff, the games started doing this, so I tried resetting everything back to normal, but still the problem is there, I even tried underclocking the GPU as low as it would go but I still have the problem. If there's any sort of troubleshooting that might help, I would greatly appreciate it! this is my first forum post as well so I apologize for anything that wasn't up to par
