lumia 930 no sd.. could it be to do with geforce experience? Would steam be getting mixed up with the geforce experience settings for the mic/headset? Reason i ask is because when i play Call of duty for instance there are two symbols at the bottom right of the screen, when groove is activated they start flashing and the menu in game starts to shudder but if i start the game up with groove off they do not flash. Its like a mic symbol and a refresh symbol?

Multiple drives.. Windows is running on ssd, and games etc are running on 3x 2tb hdd. I use a windows phone so i can use groove everywhere, plus i can listen to whatever track when i want and at a set price each month. With apple i would have to pay for the tracks then pay for the cloud storage to store them.

My Fps is badly effected when i play a game and listen to my groove playlist at the same time. The games badly shudder from startup and i have a capable cpu to run both: System spec as follows: z97p-d3 motherboard I5 4570 default clock speeds. 16gb ram gtx 980 4gb cx750m psu lucid sound ls-30 wireless headset Windows 10 pro 64bit I have no idea what is wrong but i am hoping one of you legends can help me

Try putting hdd first in line Sata 0, sata 1 etc before everything else Check bios and see if the drive is set to ACHI. Ssd should be read in bios without a partition. Also check it with a different sata cable they can break inside. Is ssd in raid try turnig raid off, remove all sata devices and leave that hdd in and see if the drive appears in bios after reboot.
-
Sometimes when i add something new and have errors it is usually the simple stuff.. Try windows update.. use a usb on the mobo instead of the handy front. Also go get the latest driver from the manufacturer website, install it and reboot.

Everything is stock no oc or bios adjustments. Also getting valid scores on 3dMark so i thought that would rule driver issues out.. possible though. Its more the old i5 playing smooth 4k that baffles me but newer tech cannot..

How is it that my old gtx 950 gpu cannot handle playing 4k from youtube but the i5-4570 intel 4600 graphics can smoothly? Thing is, this cpu is older than the gtx 950 surely it should be the other way around. Also i noticed similar performance between gtx 770 2gb and the gtx 950 strix 2gb near identical fps with the gtx 770 edging out infront in 1080p games. System spec: Motherboard: Z97p-D3 CPU: i5-4570 Ram: Corsair vengeance DDR3 1866 16gb PSU: Corsair CX 750M 1 TB Hdd

Yeah no force needed the connections a buttery smooth, also i believe there is a clip on one side of the connection so cant go wrong there. The psu is Modular also so the 2x4 pin is dedicated. Thanks for the input.

First problem i ran into DELL.. I scrapped the q9650 idea and headed for the Xeon x5450. Modified the board for fitment. Modified the case for a custom i/o panel to be fitted. Then i came across the mini 24pin connector lol nooo Optiplex 780 has a miniture connection compared to the normal.. I will not give up :D Any suggetions on BTX power supplies 300w or more Not ATX as the dell btx boards are custom made. Also it has to fit in the c521 usff case.

I have just bought a Gigabyte z97p-d3 board with a i5-4590 3.3ghz cpu. Heres the problem I simply installed the cpu outside of the case to test first plugged the psu 24 pin and the 12 2x4pin atx in to the board added some ram hdmi to onboard graphics and switched it on I seen smoke coming from the atx 12v 2x4 pin connector so switched it off. Psu is not the problem as i am using it right now on the setup i have installed Any ideas guys thanks

I was indeed talking directly about Call of Duty Black ops 2 + 3. No information was given about BF4 at all by me. In Console Black ops 2 + 3 (Xbox one) In game settings Aim Assist is usually disabled for clan training accuracy. !00% guarantee you this option is there which in turn tell you (the user) that Aim assist is in fact programming based and can be disabled. At the top of this list it shows Target assist.. this is aim assist.. Unless somebody is using a modified controller with an arbiter chip of some sort which likely will not work on PC then aim assist is not present in a stock Xbox controller. The thumb sticks are not a form of aim assist as it is much more difficult to use two forms of direction as it is using one handed movement. Xpadder uses a concept of decoying a mouses axis movement and assigning that movement to the thumb stick I.e tricking the game in thinking the mouse is being used when it is not.

btx board that fits an athlon 845? I figured moving away from ddr2 to ddr3 would improve the chances of a smoother 4k experience. I like a challenge so i am open to ideas. Thanks ChrisCross

Have this crazy idea to turn my old Dell c521 sff pc into a media pc for kodi etc and hope to run 4k lol, heres my plan: remove the standard c521 board and replace it with a optiplex 780 board Grab a q9650 at 95w and slap it in there.. grab a gtx 750 ti low profile card 60w? 16gb ram hopefully if not 8gb.. Theory is will 4k be stable on this build? Your thoughts and opinions guys..
