  1. I'm lookin at the EVGA bronze certified 80+ efficiency 750w semi modular, its $60
  2. CPU's do effect FPS but not that much , and i5 6600k should give you the max FPS you can get out of a CPU unless you have a very high range GPU.
  3. At the moment you can get the older version of the K70 with RGB for $120 on amazon, its pretty much the same as the most recent model I'd check that out.
  4. I'm only interested in performance, I'm probably gonna make my rig look better with case fans down the line and higher watt PSU's aren't that expensive (I don't pay for electricity)
  5. Fps is how you measure how good a GPU is, isn't it?
  6. for me the k70's wrist rest is a must for me, but also consider the Roccat ryos, its the K70's main competition in my opinion.
  7. I am wondering which GPU to buy I don't mind waiting I am hoping to average 60 fps on an average amount of games, without future proofing. The 970 seamed to be good for me but now the 1060 is much better value for money, the 1070 beats the 980 ti, the 1060 beats the 980, will the 1050 beat the 970, and if anyone knows any rumoured stats can you please help me out any advice would be much appreciated
  8. If you not looking for a gaming pc, the MacBook pro, or the dell XPS 15 would be good, also the asus zenbook is nearly as thin as the MacBook and pretty similar in terms of general performance, but if you are looking for a gaming pc, go for the razer blade stealth, but also look at the Asus ROG series and the MSI ghost series, personally out of the 3 I prefer the MSI ghost, but its only got 8 hours battery
  9. but overclocking to its fullest do you think it will do the trick?
  10. I am looking to get and overclock the intel core i5 6600k to 4.5 ghz, I would like to know what cpu cooler you guys recommend, should I get a liquid cooler or would a hyper evo 212 do the trick, and what does the 6600k compare when overclocked to a basic i7, and what are the pros and cons of overclocking.
  11. I wan't to use over 90 mods at once with the best shader available, which I don't think any cpu could handle alone, and the gtx 1070, is too expensive, i'd rather wait for the 970 to drop in price
  12. ok, but a gtx 970 is very overkill, a decent gtx 960 would be more than enough, in your situation i'd buy a gigabyte gtx 950 extreme and with the left over money buy more games, but one things for sure the 970 will be really good, if in the future you'd wan to play good games at 768p the gtx 970 would be good because it is "too good" and when games become more advanced the 970's abilities won't lower too much at 60fps, and 60hz. If that is you are intending to future proof for your monitor
