Hi so I currently have 2 routers one is a cheaper spare and one is the one given by my ISP can I get both the routers to work on one network ?

Okay what's the benefits of having them seperate ?

I can't at the moment because I'm at work but as soon as I can I will and if I were to get it running would I simply have to speed test my connection to find out if the router will go above 24 Mbps or something else

Okay so with this router then that would be my max speed even though my line is faster

Okay thanks. I did read somewhere that adsl isn't good enough for modern connections as it only can do 8mbps correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi so I managed to get this router https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-D3600-100UKS-802-11n-Gigabit-Router/dp/B00UT5K1UA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476264212&sr=8-1&keywords=Netgear+d3600 for about £20 new and I noticed on the box it says adsl for and I have heard of vdsl and I'm not sure if and how well it will work to replace my but home hub 4 https://www.shop.bt.com/products/bt-home-hub-4--bt-broadband-customers--068340-8P1M.html i got this with my isp and I know a bit about networking so any help would be great. My speeds are about 36 down and 5 up if I am not able to use it as a router could It be used for a wifi extender and or a switch because as I noticed it has gigabit Ethernet. Thanks

Have you tried 2 things: 1- update drivers 2-different browser id recommend giving those a try
