SuperMicro X8DTI-F with Dual Xeon X5687's and 24gb of Samsung ECC 1333mhz ram and a 500watt psu with a 6pin to dual 8pin adapter. After a few seconds of pressing the power button on the board, I only get the BMC heart led to power on and stay solid for a few seconds then it starts blinking. Nothing else.
All in a Antec 900 case (doesn't fit lol so I put an anti static bag under to avoid shorts)
Edit #1 (10/4/2016): Got an old server and stripped out everything and inserted my components. The 16 year old system still worked and decided to test the old first gen Xeon board with my 500watt antec PSU. It works, but doesn't power my current system up and my system works with the old triple 300 watt PowerMan PSU with only a single PSU turned on (the other 2 are faulty). So my current workstation uses under 300 watts, anybody know what it could be?
PSU's
Antec BP500U
PowerMan EFRP - 3300
Motherboards
SuperMicro X8DTi-F
MSI 9138
Was just gonna stay with the PowerMan but that old pos is too loud.
