  1. I want to rebuild my current system which is ancient at this point. It's an amd fx4300 with 8gb of ram and a Nvidia 610. I want to reuse my corsair c600m and my 1tb mechanical drive. I'd like to upgrade the storage to a nvme ssd or a sata ssd later but to get started I want to reuse the drive. I currently game on my laptop but I'm severely limited in that capacity. I will use the new machine for mapping software that responds well to more cores and threads but also needs a decent gpu for the graphical rendering. I don't need the program to run to the max, at school I run it on a dual 32 core xenon system with a quadro but I'm not. Allowed to remote into it and use it outside of campus. I want to be able to play my games on the desktop. Nothing crazy just some ksp, civ, and some random indie games. I have dual monitors that run hdmi at this point but would like to upgrade later on. I'm trying to stay around 600 usd and use a ryzen 5 and a bf450 board but I get lost on finding ram and a decent gpu. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. when will these bundles become available? and will my corsair 600 watt run exerything or should i just go ahead and build a whole new rig and just reuse my current case?
  3. Do you have a link to where I can get it for that much?
  4. I had a stable 4.3 ghz clock on it a few weeks ago but I had a cmos failure that put it into a boot loop thanks to my power strip failing while I was saving bios settings. I restored to the base clock after that since It kinda spooked me. Thanks for the suggestions. I haven't heard anything about the 470x what will the price point be?
  5. I bought a pc from my friend last year and it was great for what I was doing at the time which was just school work and some mine craft well now I play a lot of civ 5 and it really taxes my GPu. I currently have an msi n610gt which is a cheap card and I know that but I want to make the switch to amd but I don't know a whole lot. I want to spend around 100-150 usd on a new card. My current build is Msi 760gma-p34 Amd fx4300 Msi n610gt A corsair 600w power supply. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  6. the only reason i wanted the ac outlet was because my laptop has no battery life and the power where i live is unstable. the removable batteries so i can just have a pile of 18650s to keep swaping in to keep it going
  7. I don't have a link but radioshack sells a decent battery bank thats 10400 mah and ive had it for a year and it still works well its about as thick as 2 iphone se
  8. Im looking for a halfway decent battery bank and haven't been able to find one that has both removable 18650 batteries and an ac outlet. Is there anyone out there that has one or am i just a wishful thinker?
