  1. That didn't seem to help . Guess i'll have to try a clean install. Thanks so much for your help though.
  2. Just checked the BIOS, didn't see anything that popped out at me to change. Could you give me a little more information on what it would say? I've tried unplugging my main SSD and just leaving the new SSD inside but that didn't work either. Kept saying no media drive/disk (Something along those lines)
  3. I don't have many programs if that's the case. Just Overwatch/some personal files I could easily transfer over w/ Flashdrive
  4. Would a clean install really be better? Didn't know cloning was so frowned upon, just seemed a lot easier than re-installing everything.
  5. I used the Macrium Reflect to do this clone. @WSADKeysGaming
  6. Hello, I'm cloning my 240G Samsung SSD to a 120G Kingston SSD. Already cloned and in disk management it reads the drive, also in BIOS, but it won't boot. Not sure what I did wrong? Any ideas? 8. Nope the HHD was from an ACER w/ Windows 7-64bit on it
  9. We are both using Windows 7-64bit Also, the connections to all cord are plugged in. It's not in the BIOS either.
  10. Hey, I just double check and both are secure and plugged in correctly. Do you know how to move forward with the data recovery?
  11. Hello, My girlfriend's Aunt's mom (I know it's a mouthful) recently passed away. She had all of these great pictures of her on her computer; which decided to not work the day after the wake. What I know: Does not boot on my system, Isn't detected in the BIOS, isn't detected in Disk Management. What I need to know: Is there any way to recover some of the pictures/information on the drive? If you need any information about the drive or the computer please comment away.
  12. I need all new components (Except my SSD & CD drive). I think this is the best time with the 1080 coming out soon. Could anyone put a ballz to the wallz build together for me? Also don't need peripherals. Thanks!
  13. Here's 4 pictures of the CPU cooler and the I can't even give you a screen cap of the temps because my computer reaches 90 and turns off before I can do it. Typing this out on my phone thanks for the help
  14. Hello everyone! First im poster on Linus Tech Tips so please go easy on me if I'm missing information. I just bought a new H60 cooler because I only had a stock AMD one. I installed it as the directions said and even watched a video. My temperatures are way too high and you can see. Any common mess ups for this problem? I'll leave my specs below.
