That's not how it works, the setting will render according to whatever you set the game to, the only thing that happens when you have a weak GPU is that your framerate will be crap. Crysis 3 on max settings looks the same on a 750 ti as it does on a 980 ti, the difference is that the 750ti will run it as single digit frames where the 980 ti won't.

This seems like a different issue entirely, @OP do you know why you are getting an error 37 when you try to install your driver? In addition changing monitors will not change this, as the game is rendering the shadows are a really low res for some reason. You should try giving DDU a run and using an older driver like the GTA5 release driver, there has been some fuckery going on with Nvidia's drivers as of late and there is no sign of the problem being fixed yet. Some people have even had their cards bricked or damaged by the newer drivers.

That video is a perfect example. It's as if the game has been upscaled from 800x600, even at 1080p with max AA. That's the best way to explain this issue, as if everything is being upscaled and AA suddenly stops working at all. Even SGSSAA didn't do anything on my 750 ti, except for sht on my fps. The funny thing is, it happened in steps to me. First, everything works perfectly fine, then everything looks bad unless you enable AA, then even AA stops working then even obscure methods of AA through nvidiainspector stop working. It happened exactly the same way to the 960 I had and the 750 ti I bought after that, and a laptop I bought with a 630m in it.

Edit: Aha, I see that video is running at a low resolution, which is why it displayed the issue so well. Now imagine my games looked exactly like that but at 1080p resolution with supersampling turned on. Even downsampling did nothing but reduce its visibility marginally.

Right now on my 5750 everythings working pretty damn fine. I'm starting to think whether it's completely random and has no relation to GPU type. Although I've still had the worst experiences with nvidia. It all started there for me anyway.

be there with them.. while they are looking at the games.. point the problems and they should know if it a problem of hardware or not.. anyway i tried cleaning my cpu and it doesnt do anything.. bro reply back if thats done.. if that problem doesnt show on them.. maybe this is a monitor a power problem.. or something more
