So there was a power outage for 1 second, not sure if that is called power surge or not. After that the monitors - speakers... all peripherals actually get no power/signal from my pc (monitors were on the gpu) everything else seems to be working when i boot my PC if i can tell from the LEDs. What could have happened and is it repairable?

My PC gets no downtime. I rarely even put it to sleep. Does a hair-dryer work, or is it too strong?

So after 2 years i want to swap all my hardware to a new case. I am migrating from 750D to P400S. I will also be adding 16 more GB's of RAM (old sticks are 2400, new ones 3000 so i might want to OC the old ones to like 2666) and i bought new thermal paste from Corsair. My questions are should i be resetting any settings i have before migrating, and what is a good maintenance routine to have in mind both for software and hardware? I know i am not really taking care of my PC and i would like to change that as well as learning a bit more about Computers in general. Thanks

I know that they will both run at CL15 2400, but im just saying in case i can resell the kit i have, which shouldn't be too hard, and then buy another one at 3000, will it be worth it?

So right now i have 16GB Gskill Ripjaws V 2400, and i want to buy another kit. Should i buy the 3000 CL15 one, even though it is going to get downgraded to 2400 in case i can sell my old kit and then buy another 3000 one or just go with another 2400?

I have the corsair 750D, but the power button doesn't work and it also is too big for my desk, so i wanted something smaller, a midi ATX tower. I've checked the h500i and the P400s and i can say i like them both, but I was waiting for CES to be over in case *giggity* a new case is revealed. Can i get some recommendations? Hello LTT Community, i am still looking for a 1080p IPS Monitor to use as a secondary. Since i won't be gaming on it, i am fine with it being 60Hz. Will anything like that happen if one uses a 1080 p 144hz and a 1440p 144hz monitor at the same time?
