  1. I dont have an xlr connector. Since the cable is so expensive, would selling it be better for me? The mic isn't my main interest, I'm mainly focused on the audio quality and if I can sell it for a different one with better quality that would be nice.
  2. Hi all, I just bought a beyerdynamic dt290 headset at a swap meet, mint condition for $5. I was unaware that it did not come with the cable, but I am still very happy I was able to find such a deal. However, I am not sure if I want to sell it and use the money to buy a different pair with better audio or to buy the cable for this headset. I know that the main attraction of this headset is the microphone used for casting, I just want whatever can get me the best audio. Any suggestions on what to buy, or is this headset already good for audio quality?
  3. When is Volta expected to be coming out?
  4. Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my computer completely besides my gpu (GTX 970). I now have left over parts, 3x4GB 1600MhZ ddr3 crucial ballistix ram, Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Mobo, AMD FX-8350 with cooler, and I can also sell my gpu. I don't know whether I should sell my parts now and buy a 1070 or sell my parts later to buy a 20 series card, since the value of my parts will go down over time. Suggestions?
  5. Turns out my windows enterprise 2015 edition is too outdated for my modern hardware and caused most of the crashes. Upgraded to Windows 10 pro and everything is up and running stable. Thank you everyone for all your help / suggestions.
  6. Hey everyone, just wondering, is the Asus rog STRIX b350f compatible with individually addressable rgb strips?
  7. Nothing lights up. Do you know what the cheapest and longest strip i can find is that is compatible?
  8. Hey everyone, i just got a Asus rog STRIX b350f MOBO, and i was wondering if i could plug in a 3 pin rgb strip to the rgb header somehow, or if there is a cable adapter. This is the strip I have: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.amazon.com/ALITOVE-Individually-Addressable-Programmable-Waterproof/dp/B019DYZNO6&ved=0ahUKEwjcr4SqqLDYAhUMRCYKHcPdD38QFggjMAA&usg=AOvVaw0Mwj2jR6Za6agYkJWSnlh4
  9. So since its not the power supply, do you have any other suggestions? Im currently going to try to reinstall windows 10 pro instead of the my current enterprise edition and then if thats not the problem I'll exchange my cpu and mobo for a new one.
  10. I ran it again twice and it crashed the first time during the second test around 50 seconds, and got further than it had, and then the second time I ran it got through all the tests no problem until it reached the snowy gpu test and then the screen went black and froze after apparent completion. Edit: I ran a third test and it crashed at the beginning of the snowy gpu test (5 seconds in). Edit 2: I was downloading some drivers for my mouse to see if it would freeze and it froze again pretty quickly.
  11. I just went to microcenter and got a cx650 80+ bronze, this was the one the employee recommended to me since the gold ones were just out of my price range. If this works I'll stick with it but if it doesn't I'll go back and get a gold (or return if it's not the problem).
  12. I can check tomorrow after I wake up on my brothers computer if he has a decent power supply, or ill probably just go to microcenter and buy one and return if its not the problem, but for now I'm going to sleep, I've been working on this all day and it's been exhausting. I'll let you know in a few hours. Thanks for all the help.
  13. It was running fine and during the second test it froze. Edit: I ran it again and it froze again at the same spot.
