  1. I did end up getting a d5 but I think that I might be doing something wrong since even this seems to not quite cut it. Anyways I'll keep on troubleshooting
  2. Thx for the anwser, I was also guessing the same since the D5 pushes about 1500l/h while the raijintek barely pushes 500, but I wasn't sure about the head pressure which it had. Regarding the laing setup, I was refering to using one or two ddc pumps.
  3. Hi guys, I recently redid my water cooling loop and have some issues with my pump. I have a Raijintek RAI-PM5 pump and I am almost sure that it cannot cope with the new number of radiators. My loop is: pump > thin 240 > thick 240 > GPU > thick 480 > cpu >reservoir. The gpu temps are alright, but the cpu is not getting enough coolant. I know that the RAI-PM5 is pretty bad and I wanted to upgrade for a while but I don't know if I shoulg go for a single D5 pump or Dual D5 setup. Also, if you think that a laing setup instead of a D5 one is better, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
  4. Thanks to everybody for replying. I want to start streaming and do some video editing and I feel that the cpu is bottlenecking the rest of the system. As for the ram, i wouldn't change it considering it is sufficient or even overkill but I can't do that because ddr4. For the gpu on the other hand I'm in another position as I'm between generations and since nvidia said that their first line of new gpus won't have hbm2 but gddr5x instead, I'm not sure about the upgrade (+I have a buyer for the 980 already). Something similar happened to me when I built my current system as I would have gone with a 5820k in the first place but ram wasn't available in Romania at the time (I know it s stupid)
  5. Hello guys, this is my first post so please be gentle My current setup is: -i74790k -32gb of ram -1 gtx 980 -corsair rm1000 -2x 250 samsung 840 evo and a 2tb seagate barracuda -custom water loop -all wraped up in a phanteks enthoo primo I want to upgrade my pc and wanted some advice regarding the value I'm getting at this time. My plan is to get a 5820k or a 5930k (is 2011-3 worth it or should I wait it out?) and maybe 16 or 32 gb of ram. The hard part is the gpu or gpus as I'm not sure if I should wait for the new nvidia lineup (and even go so far as wait for the new ti) or just get another 980 or 980 ti. Apart from this components I plan on keeping the psu and the drives. Thanks in advance!
