  1. My favorite thing is wireless charging. Way too many flagships forget about this!
  2. This thread is for this: http://linustechtips.com/main/page/index.html scroll down and look at bottom right. It's a placeholder.
  3. Are you going to start uploading in 2.5k now that you have the new camera? 1440p is growing fast with the whole Korean monitor thing!
  4. Completely agree, especially considering how knowledgeable you are.
  5. I wrote "SOURCE: " Not plagiarizing if sources are given. Edit: saw other posts about how you didn't see source.
  6. http://www.coding2learn.org/blog/2013/07/29/kids-cant-use-computers/ This is the best piece of editorial literature I have ever read. Not just a rage on iPads and going back to the good old PC. I assume that most of you are your family and friends "Tech guys." This brings a whole new perspective to me. I hope it does to you too. I apologize of this should be in the news section. I figured not since it is an editorial.
  7. Thanks for doing this!
  8. Used to be. Now there are much more reliable and faster options.
  9. Yeah but a GT 610 would be a pretty heavy downgrade from a GTX 570. He already said his budget: I would recommend a 780. Awesome, but still good value unlike a Titan.
  10. so yeah.
  11. @Ghost I don't own a block yet. @mvitkun That is my one concern: that the universal block will be incompatible with the stock ram sinks. I thought about posting a trade on /r/hardwareswap to try to trade with someone for a reference card. If I did, I don't think anyone would care anyway. Maybe if I incentivized with $40 or something like that. But then I'm wasting money and might as well just get a universal block and not bother.
  12. A few months ago I bought a Swiftech H220. I now want to add my gpu to the loop. I looked it up, and despite Sapphire saying my card is reference, it is not. Somewhere mid production they switched to a new version with a blue pcb that is non reference. The part that makes it incompatible with full cover blocks are two capacitors next to the left most vram chip. Mine: Reference pcb: In this thread on xtremesystems.org the poster says that he might drill through a full cover Koolance block (page 2). I don't want to screw up and void my warranty. I am good with tools, but wasting $100 doesn't sound like fun. Should I go universal? Both versions of the card come with heat sinks on the vram and mosfets anyway. Would this be enough to cool passively, or should I take the stock heat sinks off and add aftermarket ones? Thanks for your help!
