  1. Thank you, that would probably be better, as I need only to access a domain pointing towards my public ip. How would I go about doing that?
  2. No I've kept the settings pretty much default. I haven't, I'll do that as soon as I get home. I'm just not sure what else it would be because that's really the only network change I've made. Modem/router stayed the same, it was just moved to a different coaxial port.
  3. Hi, I changed the switch in my home network to a TP-Link managed switch (T1500G-10PS), and now NAT loopback is not working. My previous switch was an unmanaged switch. Any ideas as to why this might be?
  4. Hi, I recently did a new custom watercooled build. However, when I turn it on, after about 20 seconds, the graphics card shuts down. The rest of the computer is still running, but I don't get any video output. Error LED appears to be on boot devices (green). Here's the specs (3rd rad didn't work out): PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor $499.99 @ Best Buy Motherboard Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard $249.99 @ B&H Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $134.99 @ Newegg Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB Video Card $699.99 @ Best Buy Case Phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV SHIFT Mini ITX Tower Case $109.99 @ Amazon Power Supply EVGA SuperNOVA GM 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply $109.94 @ ModMyMods Case Fan Corsair ML120 75 CFM 120 mm Fans $30.99 @ Amazon Monitor Dell AW3418DW 34.1" 3440x1440 120 Hz Monitor $749.00 @ Amazon Custom Prolimatech PRO-USV12-BK Ultra Sleek Vortex Case Fan (BLack) $18.99 Custom XSPC EX120 Single Fan Radiator $39.99 @ Amazon Custom XSPC EX120 Single Fan Radiator $39.99 @ Amazon Custom EK Water Blocks EK-Velocity AMD CPU Water Block - Nickel + Acetal $88.95 @ Amazon Custom EX950 2TB $209.99 Custom WB GPU $123.99 Custom RAD 1 $35.49 Custom Tubing $14.99 Custom Coolant $19.99 Custom Pump $189.99 Custom T-Splitter $8.99 Custom Ball Valve $16.99 Custom 6mm Extender $2.99 Custom Fittings x16 $95.84 Custom EXP 90 Degree x4 $35.96 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $3528.01 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-12-07 22:17 EST-0500
  5. I probably could do something else more practically, but I just love the look of this case. Also I really want to do a custom loop. I'm using the same rads as another guy who did dual rads and found that he could actually fit a thicker rad on the side and the PSU would be fine (https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/phanteks-evolv-shift-custom-loop.3430/). I'd definitely drain the loop everytime I flew with it, and maybe even build a custom flight case later down the line. Also trying to figure out loop routing if anyone wants to help
  6. Part of the reason I'm trying to keep it in the Shift (regular) is because I want to be able to transport this to and from college. Also, hopefully I'd be able to install a third 120mm radiator, I saw a post of someone who did that.
  7. I'd be mounting two 120mm rads on the right and bottom right. The reason I chose the DDC was mainly for space, as I'm trying to mount the flat res on the top left opposite the preinstalled 140mm fan, and the D5 version is bulkier (86 vs 58mm).
  8. Why don't you like EK? And yeah, I guess I'll see what the temps are though and I an always switch out the panels.
  9. I want it to fit where the 2.5" ssd mounts are. There's a 140mm fan opposite and it looks symmetrical, so I think it could work. Only worried about the depth.
  10. Sorry for posting to an old thread, but I'm trying to do something similar, just with a full custom loop. How did you mount the fan for the AIO? Is it on the outside and if so, was any modding needed to make it fit and what size (depth) fan was it? For the bottom front and bottom radiators, which did you use? Where are the fans mounted for those?
  11. I'm pretty sure it's just the regular one with mesh panels. My theory is that I can always buy the mesh panels if the tempered glass makes the thermals too bad. Any thoughts on the other questions?
  12. Also, is it possible to have the fill port double as the drain port and just turn the PC upside down?
  13. Hi, I'm planning a new build in the phanteks evolv shift. I wanted to watercool it because of the poor airflow, and am wondering if the new flat reservoirs from ekwb (https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-kinetic-flt-120-ddc-pwm-d-rgb-plexi) would fit where the 2.5" drive bays are in the shift (http://www.phanteks.com/Enthoo-Evolv-Shift.html). What do you think?
  14. Updated the build slightly based on someone who's done dual rads in the shift before. Do you think this will work? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/iPC/saved/h9kp8d
  15. Yeah, most people do though. It kinda sucks, but it was still a good deal, so
  16. 2 days ago. Also nvm, dell's website has the price at 999USD now.
  17. I honestly don't know. I thought you didn't, but could be wrong.
  18. Is there no way to transport it through air travel? Draining the loop, disconnecting hoses, etc?
  19. Its MSRP is lik 1300 but newegg had it for 650 off. It was insane, so I snatched it up as soon as I could so I didn't miss the deal. Also apparently amazon has it for that now. Shit, couldve avoided tax
  20. yeah, my bad, kinda misspoke. It's AIO vs custom. I'm probably going to use it for a lot of machine learning and gaming in college, so half half productivity and gaming. Ok. Will AIOs have this problem? And what about cushioning it? I'd have it in a carry on probably.
  21. Part of it's because I'm worried about is thermals in the case, I've heard they're not the greatest. And kinda also want the tempered glass side panels, so even worse airflow. Also, for upgradeability, in the next few years I will already have the cooling infrastructure, just new blocks. So I'll just need to buy mobo cpu gpu and some blocks.
  22. Hi, Im planning a new build. This is a build that I want to be able to move between places (plane transportable), so I wanted to go with a mITX form factor. I've always really liked the look of the Phanteks Evolv Shift, so I'm kinda attached to the case. My budget is right around 2500-2600. Would I be crazy to downgrade from a 2080S to a 2070S in order to custom watercool the case? I'm also looking at future upgradeability. Here are the two builds. (I could also go with a 2700X in the aircooled build and get an EVGA Hybrid 2080S). All suggestions and comments are welcome! 23. Ok, so I've decided I kinda want to do an ITX build, but was wondering which build to go with. One uses a smaller case, which is nice, but I'm worried about the thermals for the 3800x and also decided to go with a hybrid GPU because of the small form factor. EDIT: the reason I'm still going with the x570 mobo s partially because I need the wifi.
