  1. But what I was trying to state was in a budget sense for this psu. People building budget gaming pc's are most likely not going to reuse the psu in a future build. "At least smart ones anyway."
  2. Lol. Have you read any of johnyguru's reviews? His whole thing is reviewing the "INSIDE" of the power supply as well as many other things. ?
  3. I see time and time again that when people are building a very cheap budget gaming pc this power supply always comes up in discussion just to be slapped down instantly calling it a "fire hazard" and referring it to be similar to playing russian roulette. From reading johnyguru's review on it he seams to think it is not all that bad. I just want to know why people look down on it in a budget sense. Also here is the review just in case an body wants to see it. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&file=print&reid=431
  4. Yea... kinda made me shit bricks finding out my ram, cpu, and gpu all cost me 200$ each. ( used jet.com to get 15% off my first 3 orders. )
  5. Im also planning on getting the r7 1700 and 1070 or 1080ti in the future. Just can't afford em rn so I went with the 1600 and 1060. ?
  6. Well someone told me only CL 14 worked with my mobo and that was the cheapest one I could find. ?
  7. I know evga does make shifty affordable psu's but I think this is a more well built one. It had great reviews on amazon as well. Also I think a company that gives a power supply a 5 Year Warranty as well as a shelf tester is pretty confident in the reliability of their product. Now for the mobo, I chose it because I'm not one for flashy gimmicky stuff. I just wanted something that gets the job done.
  8. A little bit of everything, but mostly csgo, bf1, rust, king of the kill, gta5, and the culling.
  9. Good build? Thoughts? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q6pLnn I just want to know what people think. I also already bought every part so lol.
  10. So if cas 14 is the only compatible with ryzen, why is their cas 16 that was just made for ryzen? https://www.gskill.com/en/press/view/g-skill-announces-flare-x-series-and-fortis-series-ddr4-memory-for-amd-ryzen
  11. These? https://jet.com/product/fd53935031984c62ae7ff055f2213bad
  12. People keep saying that and I don't know what that means. Is the ripjaw v one of those? Or tridentZ?
  13. The title states it all. I want a 16gb kit. I know flare x and fortis is supposed to be the best but it's to expensive.
  14. https://jet.com/product/69b9865d1fc54be8ab9bec2628bc13b8 These?
  15. G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory F4-3200C16D-16GVRB
  16. Let me rephrase that. " link for recommended kit? "
  17. So I'm thinking these then? https://jet.com/product/fd53935031984c62ae7ff055f2213bad
  18. The ryzen r5 1600x would be the best to use. It's value over performance out ways intels i7 win in some applications. Also the 1600 is a better value over the 1600x. The only difference is the 1600x can overclock itself.
