I guess I should just hold off for now and upgrade at a later time since I'm on a pretty tight budget.

Also I need to add: I will be using the GPU for gaming at 1440p.

So I currently have a GTX 960 with 4GB of VRAM. I've been planning to upgrade to a GTX 1060. My question is, is it a worthy upgrade? Also one thing that I'm not sure about is that I would basically be downgrading on the VRAM amount since I would be buying a 3GB model of a 1060. I would really appreciate any thoughts on this topic and I'm also open for other graphics card upgrade suggestions!

Dunno. All the Nvidia technologies seem to be kinda pricey. In my opinion though, you don't really need a gsync monitor If you're gonna have a good graphics card paired with a 1080p monitor.

Dude the1080 is more than enough for a 1080p monitor. You could go for a cheaper card and redirect the saved money for a 1440p monitor.

If you have another pair of headphones, try them and see if you still have the same problem. If so, then the problem is with your soundcard. With the keyboard, I think it's just getting old. Razer products aren't exactly the best quality (I have experience with their products, my blackwidow keeps having constant malfunctions).

Hey! Thanks for the reply! I'll have to inform that I played around with the 2 working monitors for a while and shut down my PC. After I powered it up again, the problem had solved itself. Still, thank you for the suggestion!

First of all, my hardware that is or could be related to the issue: Primary monitor is a 2560x1440p monitor connected to my pc with a DP cable, secondary monitor is a 1920x1080 monitor connected with DVI-D (dual link) cable and my 3rd monitor is 1600x900 connected with VGA. My GPU is a GTX 960 (latest drivers, I checked) with 4GB of Vram. I'm running Windows 10 (updated from 8.1) Now to the issue itself: I recently went to a LAN party and only brought my primary monitor. The LAN lasted for 4 days and then I returned to my own desk with the 2 other monitors. I boot up the PC and at first it only shows the picture in my 3rd monitor, not even detecting the other monitors. I reboot the PC, same issue. I reboot the PC with the 3rd monitor disconnected, it shows the picture only in my main monitor, not in the secondary one I also had plugged in. I connect all the monitors, restart the PC, and this is where the real issue begins: The PC shows the motherboard splash art, and after that, boots into a black screen with the cursor showing and the Windows 10 loading icon spinning on my secondary monitor. I reboot the PC, same issue. The thing is, I can still operate my PC while it's in this mode. I could (basically blindfolded) type in my password and (still blind) shut down or restart the PC from the desktop. I tried disconnecting my secondary monitor, only leaving the primary one and the 3rd one plugged in, and the problem is gone. I can operate my PC normally. Then I tried plugging the secondary in again, and the issue occurs again. Please, dear LTT community, help me.

Dude, I had the same problem. What I did was set video settings to default, then adjust my graphics settings back to normal and it was fine. Try it! Also, make sure you're playing on fullscreen.

Well, your processor is 4th gen, so it's getting kinda old. There is a possibility of bottlenecking. I don't see the reason to upgrade to 16GB of ram, though.

Well, I've built 2 PCs and I've never used any gloves, modmats ETC. Just don't build on a carpet. And if you go do something else in middle of the build, make sure to touch something large and metallic (powersupply) before you start building again. Have fun with the build!

Honestly, seems kinda sketchy and old. Go for a newer one.

It will boot to the OS, but windows will most likely tell you that it's no longer valid and you have to get a new windows key if you have used that same copy of windows with another computer.

So I just installed my cablemod widebeam leds into my pc, a 30cm one and a 60cm one. The 60cm is connected to the 30cm led, which is connected to the powersupply. The problem is, the 60 cm led is not working. It only shows a dim, red light, even when I try to change the color. The 30 cm one is working just fine. Has anyone experienced something like this and/or do you guys have a solution?

I am about to buy cablemod widebeam LED-stripes for my Define S. I was wondering if the case is magnetic, so I could get the magnetic version of the LEDs, or should I go with the foam adhesive version.

Don't do the same mistake I did, which is buying a hard drive to your system before an SSD. You see, it's terrible to move windows to your SSD from your hard drive. You should get an SSD first so you can set it as a boot drive and then add a hard drive when you have the cash. Otherwise, the system seems nice, if you're on a tight budget
