  1. It seems crossfire was the issue - whenever vsync is turned on the audio gets choppy - reinstalled the drivers again and it works fine now, thanks

  3. Hey guys, having some sound issues while gaming. The audio has a constant crackling noise and also acts very choppy - it happens to audio outside the game (skype, videos, etc). However, the issue stops when I enter windowed or windowed fullscreen mode. Any solutions? I have already installed audio drivers, headset drivers, updated bios, turned it off and back on again, yet the problem still persists. Thanks in advance. PC Specs: OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97x-SOC Force CPU: Intel i7 4790K @ stock RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x4GB @2133MHz GPU: 2x MSi r9 290x Lightning @ stock SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 128GB PSU: Corsair RM1000
  4. Hey guys, was thinking about upgrading my PC and was unsure about which graphics cards to get for 4K gaming - I'm currently leaning towards running the 290x lightning cards in crossfire but unsure how it stands up against a 970 SLi setup
  5. my favourite feature? definitely its 1440p display. 530+ PIXELS PER INCH PLS
  6. Okay, I went around the BIOS menu and looked for the USB port.. turns out it was disabled.. enabled it, and it worked fine! thanks :D
  7. hey guys, so I was trying to fix an old computer that I had, and when I booted up, it said "press any key to boot from cd/dvd.." however the keyboard wont work on that screen (but I am able to press F9 or whatever to get into the bios settings), so I cannot boot from the CD/DVD drive, so it goes onto the next screen, which boots from the HDD, but it comes up with "press enter to enter system restore", but the keyboard doesn't work on that screen either. any help? thanks in advance
  8. I was thinking about buying a 560Ti HAWK off a friend for around $80... and wondering if it's worth it to buy it and use it as a dedicated physX card with my 580. Also, would a 650W PSU be enough to power these two cards?
  9. Okay, I'll probably go with the H100i then. Is there much of a temp difference between the two?
  10. How much modding would I need to do to get a Kraken X60 in there?
