  1. I have the Steelseries Rival 300 and I cannot complain about the scroll wheel ^^ apart from that I really like this mouse in general.
  2. Is 21:9 an option? Because that's what I would go for
  3. I5 6400 would be the way to go. Just look at some benchmarks on YouTube and you will see that it actually makes a big difference between the 6100 and 6400 Also i7 kaby lake would be overkill for an RX 480 unless you will also use it for editing etc (even i7 6700k is overkill for gaming nowadays)
  4. 250gb is enough for Win10 and a few games imo, but if you have the money for a 500gb go ahead, sooner or later you will fill it
  5. Thanks for your help, just two small questions: With widgets you mean apps or sports? I would be nice to have skiing as a sport. And can you control your music with the watch, so that you don't have to pull out your phone every time you want to skip a song (I am using Spotify, if that is important )? You don't need to send me photos of the watch, but thank you very much. I am just gonna look for some on the internet. That way you don't have to spend your time doing things I can easily find on the internet (at least I hope so )
  6. I haven't cosidered this one, but it seems nice. I am just gonna ask some question sbout it if that's ok? Can it measure heart rate? (I don't really need it, but for 200€ it would be nice) Can you read WhatsApp notifications on it? (Also just a gimmick, but the Vivosmart hr+ can do that for less money) Is the GPS tracking good? Is there an app for your smartphone and is it any good? What kinds of sports are supported and can you load others to your watch? Does it also work as a fitness tracker? So that it measures steps and so on the whole day? Sorry if these were too many questions, I am just very undecided on what is best for me... It would be fine if you just answer the important ones
  7. Hey guys, I plan on getting a GPS watch for christmas, but I can't decide which one is best for me. Mainly it should do well when jogging or riding my bike, but it should also be able to connect to my smartphone to see my results. I looked at the Garmin Vivoactive hr, Garmin Vivosmart hr+ (couldn't find an english link, sorry), Garmin Vivoactive, Samsung Gear Fit 2 and Motorola Moto 360 Sport. The Samsung and Motorola are said to have poor GPS tracking, so these two are no option then. I tested the Vivoactive (not hr) in a store, but it was really slow and drove me crazy, so not a good idea ether. Now I can't decide between the Vivoactive hr and Vivosmart hr+. The main differences are that the Vivosmart hr+ has a black/white display, while the Vivoavtive hr has a much bigger display with colours. Also the Vivoactive hr has more functions, for example can you load additional apps to it and it has more options like skiing and swimming, etc. However, as already said, I will mostly use running and biking, what is given with the vivosmart hr+. The price is about 40€ more for the Vivoactive hr. So in general the Vivoactive hr is a smartwatch for runners while the Vivosmart hr+ is a fitness tracker with GPS. BTW, the Vivosmart looks a lot better in real life than the Vivoactive hr+. Can you guys help me decide? I have no idea what is best for me... The only thing that keeps me from getting the Vivoactive hr is the price and the looks, since I also want to wear it to school etc... Which one would you buy? If you have any other options, just let me know
  8. Have you checked ebay and local stores? They sometimes have cases that you can't find in big online stores. However, they are most likely used then. But I am sure you could figure out if it is still a good deal
  9. So around 50€? Then you might look after some cheap cases like the Corsair 100r. It may not look as "gamer-like" as the others, but you get a lot more in terms of built quality and so on. I don't know what is important for you, so you have to decide. However, I would choose a case from a decent brand, also because the included fans are often a lot better in these cases, what is very important for me because I want my PC to be quiet. But again, your priorities may vary
  10. I really like the LUX one. However, since it is very cheap it might not be as appealing in real life, is it is on the pictures, keep that in mind. BTW what is your budget?

    Overkill?

Everythings that is more than 2 intake and 1 exhaust is useless, especially for that system
  12. I will consider that if nothing else works. But first I might try some other things, since that is more work than I have time for... Thanks for your help
  13. BTW I can download files that are on the laptop with our homegroup, if that helps
  14. I checked every driver in the device-manager if that answers your question? But I guess it has ^^
  15. Hey guys, so my mother handed me her Laptop today (Dell Inspiron n5050 with Win10) because it cannot connect to the Internet. It can join networks as usual but that's it. I did a scan for malware, but Avira couldn't find anything (I know it's not the most reliable software). All the information that I found useful: -There is no yellow icon in the bottom left corner -IPv4-Connectivity says it has Intrernet, IPv6 has no connection to the network -In this little chart at the bottom of the status window there are Bytes being sent and recieved -Every driver that could cause a problem has been checked -LAN doesn't work ether Sorry if my descriptions are bad, I have to translate the german OS into english I honestly have no clue what could cause an issue here, nor do I have a lot of time to fuck around with this laptop so I thought you might have an idea If you have any questions just ask Thanks in advance EDIT: I can download files that are stored on the laptop with our homegroup
  16. I recently read an article on how the Spotify App for Windows and OSX is writing tons of unnecessary data in the background, what is causing a much shorter lifetime for SSDs and even HDDs. Source (sorry to all non-germans ^^): http://www.stern.de/digital/online/spotify--warum-der-streaming-dienst-ihre-festplatte-zerstoeren-kann-7143688.html The article was uploaded 4 hours ago by a legit german newspaper. To sum it up quickly: The Spotify App writes tons of data, even though they are unnecessary for music streaming. Sometimes even >100GB per day, even when not listening to music, what causes a shorter life span of both SSDs and HDDs (obviously this goes more for SSDs). The problem has been reportet since June 2016 and Spotify knows about it. Spotify says you should simply reinstall it, what doesn't seem to make it better, refering to many users. There is said to be a way to fix it yourself. However, this requires knowledge on how to use a Hex-editor. Using the web player won't cause any issues. One of their sources: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ongoing-Issues/Major-I-O-write-bytes-on-the-Spotify-Desktop-app-It-will-kill/idi-p/1476745#comments I don't know if all this is true, but it seems like a major issue to me. That got me thinking why spotify hasn't fixed it in 4 months... (Maybe they have a deal with SSD manufacturers lol) If you know anything about it, feel free to share your information
  17. In general the RX series is better in DX12 games, while the GTX 10XX series has more raw power. If I was you I would look for some benchmarks between the two cards in the games you play, there should be plenty on YouTube. Both cards have quiet and reliable afermarked coolers and don't use much power. So in the end it is mostly personal preference and the difference in the games you play the most.
  18. I don't know in which country you live, but you may be better off with a RX480. In Germany for example the RX 480 was about 100€ cheaper than the GTX 1060 when both cards were just released. So you could save 100€ while getting nearly similar performance. In many DX12 games the RX480 is even a lot better.
  19. I think you should get the i5 6400 for editing. But if you are recording games a 750ti may be a bit too slow, what you end up in gameplay with bad graphic settings... In my opinion it would be absolutely worth it to wait a bit (maybe until the christmas sales are coming) and get a better graphics card
  20. Wow didn't know there were so many types of DVI ^^ On the monitors there are DVI-A ports, since they are usually VGA monitors with an adapter (such middle age, I know :D) On the graphics card there are DVI-I Dual Link connectors. So I guess you can't use them both for different displays?
  21. Hey guys, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but can you connect two displays with DVI to one graphics card? Because recently tried that with a R7 270x, which has to DVI connectors, but only one display got recognized by the PC. And even when I wanted to use just one monitor, I could just use the upper DVI slot. Is the other one dead or is it meant just for Dual-link DVI? Thanks for your help
  22. Oh, I'm sorry I didn't get your problem at first... In that case, if you tried different fan modes, my only idea would be to try MSI afterburner instead of Gigabytes own software, since Gigabytes software is not as good as afterburner...
