  1. Yeah Hotline Miami 1 + 2 is about 5 bucks right now, it's for sure worth it. Oh and I forgot I got Super Meat Boy as well because it's already on my too-rage-inducing-never-play-again-list. Aaaaand good thing I'm no completionist.
  2. Well, I picked just up a few games this time. (I have to admit it got out of hand quickly last summer sale.) Fez Hotline Miami 1 + 2 Hitman GOTY Hitman Blood Money
  3. So to clear up a few things I saw here: The DLC like maps, heroes and modes is going to be free. But there is a loot box system. This is the method of monetizing the game. The boxes can be earned at a very reasonable rate (every 2-3 games in the alpha) and they contain star cards. These cards are your abilities in your game and you cannot only get them from boxes but you can also create them by using a ingame currency called "parts". You can get 4 different tiers of each card from the boxes or you can upgrade the cards with these parts. It's not even close to a grind to get one of th
  4. It's made by Piranha Bytes, the studio that made Gothic and Risen, and published by THQ Nordic. So I'd say you could call it a indie game, depending on your definition, but it's certainly far from AAA. Who isn't looking for a game with the quality of the Witcher 3? My guess is that it won't reach the Witcher 3, certainly not in terms of polish, but it might be still somewhat enjoyable. But well, the studio has made Gothic, so maybe this game is gonna be as great. I think before the game is out it is hard to recommend it. And btw Gameranx isn't what I would consider a good source f
  5. Even if your CPU isn't maxed it can be a CPU bottleneck. That's the case here. And it's quite a big one it seems. Try to oc your CPU (Maybe there is some bios that might allow you to oc. Do a bit of research.) or turn down mesh quality, that might help as well.
  6. No it's with a certain kind of monitor, I think the CF791 series, that currently only has one model. The package descriptions contradict themselves on some Points, as already mentioned with the 1800x and 1700x. I guess we'd have to wait.
  7. Wrong! You get all the discounts and the two games with every bundle. Link: https://gaming.radeon.com/en-us/rx-vega-radeon-packs/ Radeon Red Pack: $499 USD Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Cooled edition + $200 discount on Samsung XX FreeSync monitor + Wolfenstein® II: The New Colossus™ and Prey® ($120 value) + $100 discount on Ryzen 7 1800x processor + x370 motherboard combo* Radeon Black Pack: $599 USD Radeon RX Vega 64 Air Cooled edition (Black shroud or Limited Edition Silver shroud) + $200 discount on Samsung XX FreeSync monitor + Wolfenstein® II: The New Colossus™ and Prey® (
  8. I think Nvidia Cards aren't gimped on a yearly basis, more like 2 years after release. At the launch of the 980 a 780ti performed about the same as a 980 Now it performs like a 960/1050ti Link: But on the topic: I might get Vega 64 if I'll get Vega at all, and I assume this will be Vega 56 or something that is even more cut down. Something nice for SFF enthusiasts that don't care about power draw and thermals, which are only few I assume. I think a 1070 might be the better SFF card.
  9. Sorry that was me generalizing there. I mean far right when I say far right, but I wasn't considering that you might see a different Picture, depending on your region. For my part, I was referencing (mostly eastern) European parties that are quite far right (though that still depends on your point of view) but you seem to think I was talking about more moderate right parties. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I know that the policies on this forum are nothing like far right, I would mostly call them conservative.
  10. Maybe in your country, but I don't see liberals being weak in general. In my country for instance a (far, though that depends on how you define far) left president just got elected last year. The only thing I see, in general, is populists (mostly far right ones) becoming more and more popular (well, that's already in their name).
  11. I don't know what political agenda I expected most people in this forum to have. But this wasn't it. A bit like not liberal, at all. That's somewhat surprising.
  12. No that is not what one should assume. I would guess that it would be in stock (not like just tiny amounts) at most places in about a month, but that's only an educated guess that can easily be wrong. But they are going to be in stock in the next 3 months for sure.
  13. Witcher 3 (and 2) is something that fits your needs quite well. On a sale you can get part 2 for under 2 bucks, more like 1 normally. It has some really nice graphics, especially for it's age, and you won't even be able to max it out on your machine (damn you uber-sampling). If you like it get Witcher 3 as soon as possible, it's better in almost all ways (but defenitly less challenging). If you don't like it, get Witcher 3 as well. If you pick it up on sale it almost feels like stealing. Great graphics, good story and some of the best quest design I've ever seen. Best thing would be if you get
  14. So the Ram upgrade helps, a lot in fact. The drops are significantly reduced and you can OC your CPU a little bit more. BUT I would change to the Ryzen System with a 1600, even though it would be a bit overkill for your GPU, just because Battlefield loves CPU cores (it won't help you THAT much tho) and I think you would see a lot of benefits in most other tasks as well.
