  1. I have an air compressor with a long "wand" i guess you call it, though my average PSI output is closer to 100 then 145, I also have an inline water separator that eliminates most concerns with water. If I feel the need to be static sensitive when blowing out a rig, I have a homemade ground strap for it with a couple alligator clips and a 1M resistor. Never had a problem yet!
  2. Linus did a story couple of months ago now with the 6 speakers int he bottom of the monitor. I guess I want to rant a little bit, I bought a couple of new monitors a couple months ago, and all three are the same now, everyone once in a while the speakers on the monitors will pick up as default when I reboot or start up fresh, and bothers the hell outta me. And I would never pay 1500 for a monitor, even if I had it to blow for no reason. I love my Bose 2.1 speakers that I have, I also have a pair of headphones I use to block out the world now and then.
  3. So hey everyone, just a thought that came to me as I was reading a review of a new Dell 38 inch curved widescreen, it comes with 9 Watt speakers built into it. Though it is good to have the peripheral attachment for an audio device, I couldn't really see to spend $1500 simoleons for something like a monitor, and really be expected to only use these crappy little speakers that come with the monitor. I mean why would these companies even bother with creating something that has great picture, and is the monster monitor that some of us want, and then proceed to put these under powered cell phone speakers into the monitor. Seems like a waste of development to me, get rid of the speakers, I never had a CRT that had them, why bother with something useless, save some money, pass it to your customers.
  4. Thx Paul considering I was mainly after a review, I dropped it into the review section...But here we are! E-14 thx so much for the response, even after hearing one person say they had problems with SS, I will probably be going to get a pair of Bose wired headphones to try them out, not really after the surround experience, but I do love the quality that Bose has presented to the public for a very good amount of time now. 5. it peels right off of metal, I have used it to coat tools, had pretty good sucess with it, though not sure about removal, it does eventually wear off, but should be fine on a mouse. You could always try it, I would scuff the surface of area to be applied to and tape off the rest. However if it is to the point that you are repairing it, might not be a bad idea to replace the mouse. Good Luck! Luurch
  6. If they wanted to kick Disney in the giblets, they could just release the star wars movie...it is well into post production, should be on someone back up they have access to. I do like the idea of Pirates Pirating A Pirate Movie though..RRRRRRRR!
  7. Didn't see a topic for these, so here it is, looking for a new set of headphones, turtles just aren't cutting it any more. The tech info says that they use the same drivers as their flagship $300 headphones, though I don't see why a company would sell something that normally nets a higher premium for less, kind of throws me off a little bit is all. Definately be nice to drop the wires, anyone that has previous experience with the Arctis series feel free to weigh in! https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/arctis-7?utm_source=Facebook_MS&utm_medium=CPC&utm_campaign=Arctis7&utm_content=RM_A7V_60d_M&utm_term=A7_B_RU

    office lamp

Go to a thrift store, buy a nice used lamp...then buy the LIFX bulb...
  9. https://plastidip.com/our-products/plasti-dip/ Just about any color to match, dries quick, kind of like a workable flex seal, available from fine retailers, like Amazon, and Walmart. Enjoy!
  10. All of those accelerated classes, do you have the time for work? Luckily you won't have to pay to see movies, might even be free popcorn and drinks for yourself included. Good luck saving what you can, also another option you could have is to open an account at a credit union, without atm/debit card access, it would require you to physically go there to get funds to spend out of your computer fund. Because at 17 I surely couldn't save anything for something like that.
  11. So none of my regulars that I rant to are online this late at night, so here I am! So a couple months back I bought a MSI 980ti Golden GTX beauty from the egg. Got my rebate for a bit off the cost yesterday, via snail mail. And guess what happens today while I am playing 7 days to die, I didn't die, but my practically brand new $600 video card now brings me a code 43 error, and every time I initialize it with windows, it blue screens the computer, with the dreaded nvidia dll error of death. I spent most of my waking hours installing windows versions from 7 all the way to 10 to get it to work, but same thing across the board. I even used drivers from last year before the card was even made, and still the blue screens...Shipping it to MSI tomorrow, hope to have it back sooner then later, and hopefully not a terribly old refurb, maybe I will get lucky and they will send me something better(is it out there yet?). Anyways, has anyone else had problems with MSI and or their 980's doing something similar? Luurch eol
  12. Well played sir well played.
  13. As with many others, I haven't done any of this in years, I see they have some for the phone too, will try it out on my s7 edge, and put in on my s5 as well that is sitting dormant over the next few days. Needed somethign to do with the new 980 GTX that I bought on a whim to play games that didn't require that much power but with a defunct video card, didn't really have a choice, so I went for the best on a less then 700 dollar budget. So here we go!
  14. I will add you to my battle.net, lots going on right now, but I will jump back into it eventually, probably near the end of the season. Not into the leaderboards and all that mostly just there to enjoy myself. Look for a request from Luurch!
  15. Price them low to high, that should have your list that you are looking for. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100160979%20600050982%20600050983&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=30 I am probably going to go after something along this line once I get my 980 Ti Paid off. Into the streaming world I am trying to venture into myself! I chose these because they have the display port inputs, and the ultra thin bezel i think .8 inch. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236342 Good Luck!
