  1. I ended up getting the K70 RGB lux, funny thing is price difference wasn't the issue, the grey caps just trigger me too much
  2. The Logitech G903 with powerplay mouse pad
  3. I'm deciding between the corsair darkcore se and the logitech g903. Could not try out the darkcore but I tried the logitech g903 at the store and I really like it alot. However, I already have a corsair K70 lux RGB keyboard, corsair psu, memory and case. Are you people concerned with matching brands and software for your peripherals? The way I see it, Pros(darkcore se) Open standard for qi wireless charging(I'm a proponent of open standards) - potential to be able to use other qi mouse pads 16k dpi Unified software for my mouse and keyboard USB 3.0 passthrough on the mouse mat Cons(darkcore se) Buggy software Inferior aesthetics to the g903 Inferior comfort to the g903 (I was able to try out the g903 and the g502 and the darkcore is similar to the g502, also I don't like the fact that my thumb rests on the back/forward/sniper buttons) Wireless charging is restricted to a single qi spot (They should have made multiple qi spots on a smaller mouse mat instead Pros(G903) Superior aesthetics Wireless charging throughout the entire mouse mat Superior comfort Stable software Cons(G903) Separate software and brand to my keyboard(and other hardware) Proprietary wireless charging 12k dpi No USB 3.0 passthrough for the mouse mat Please advice.
  4. The K95 RGB platinum on the corsair website only has speed and brown switches but no blues
  5. I find the aesthetics of M65 pro to be found wanting. The corsair glaive looks not bad but I'm thinking of dark core, it has the sleek look. Is there a Corsair K70 LUX RGB with a couple macro keys? lol btw the k70 and the dark core, they have on board memory to store my settings right?
  6. M65 pro looks terrible what with the jarring red target button
  7. I need a keyboard and mouse with the following features: Keyboard: Easy to remove keycaps and clean On board memory to store by saved profile settings RGB lighting for night time NO fn key Horizontal bar type enter key Mechanical - preferably with cherry mx blue switches NKRO and anti ghosting USB passthrough (preferable usb >=3.0) Can I also hope to have water resistant? Mouse: On board memory to store by saved profile settings Back and forward buttons at the side RGB lighting for night time I was previously eyeing G skill KM750 keyboard and MX750 mouse but I heard there were unfixed problems with the software and the blue switches seem to be out of stock everywhere that one might be led to believe that they are discontinued. The logitech G910 orion spectrum and G903 mouse seems appealing too but no cherry mx blues and I'm afraid it might be difficult to clean. Main purpose is for gaming, typing and programming, I also eat near my keyboard so the food tends to drop in between the keys. EDIT: forgot to add I need it to work with linux too
  8. I bought a 10-Pin USB/AC97/HD-Audio Internal Header Y Splitter Cable https://www.moddiy.com/products/10%2dPin-USB{47}AC97{47}HD%2dAudio-Internal-Header-Y-Splitter-Cable-(50cm).html to use as a HD-Audio splitter cable. I am using an asus X99E-WS motherboard with an AAFP pin array which is also used as a hd audio connector. However, because the cable is multi purpose, as can be seen in the picture, it has 10 pins and I need to remove 1 of them from each of the the male header. My question is how do I go about removing it from the header and which one do I remove? On the female header, there is a single arrow on one of the corner pins just as you would on any other motherboard header. Normally on a motherboard header, the arrow would point to the positive pin. However, according to the hd audio pinout diagram, there isn't a positive pin on any of the corner pins, the closest is a ground. Do I plug the female header with the arrow to the ground pin on the motherboard? In the product description it says: Premium 10-Pin USB/AC97/HD-Audio Internal Header Y Splitter Cable (50cm) The Male pins can be plugged on/off, to convert it between Male/Female ONE female 10-pin dupont connector to TWO male 10-pin dupont connectors ONE female 10-pin dupont connector to TWO female 10-pin dupont connectors ONE male 10-pin dupont connector to TWO female 10-pin dupont connectors
