  1. Maybe springing for a more solid company to buy from then, but the question remains the same.
  2. But I want to get into better games when I am in college. I want to be able to play like metal gear solid 5 or black ops 3 or fallout 4 with seamless graphics. Right Now i'm rocking a 740m in my vaio laptop and i play skyrim on low setting cause otherwise the screen tears and I get frame raped up the bum hole.
  3. Everything from skyrim to league of legends
  4. So I'm going off to college (yay) but I'm in a bit of a rut. I have the money to get what ever kind of laptop I want. With that said I'm stuck between getting something super light and powerful like an xps13 (or really any kind of ultrabook) or going for a midsized gaming beast( I am eyeing the Gigabyte P35x V5 ). I am really stuck! I don't know if its worth investing in a beastly gaming laptop or going more reasonable with an ultrabook! I do game often and I plan to hopefully pick up on more consistent gaming in college, but would it be better to maybe save and get a less expensive ultrabook then spend the rest of the money on like a semi budget pc and use that for gaming? Or just go all out on the gmaing laptop and skip the middle man. I need suggestions!
  5. How about more unheard of / not so mainstream laptop builders or manufacturers? I know there aren't that many out there, but you'd be surprised! Also, some next gen models of laptops you have already reviewed? Creating comparisons so people know whether or not to buy some next gen stuff or if its more worth getting the 2ng gen versions. (Like what you did with the JayBird Haedphones).
  6. So I have saved up enough money to really splurge on a nice solid kick ass gaming/ college laptop. Doing research this is one of the options I liked a lot. Im talking best gpu you can get and a 4k screen with SSD being standard. I was curious if anyone had any useful reviews I could look at or online articles based around this laptop since it is relatively knew and hard to get hands on. It's the Gigabyte P35x V5. It's spec seem off the charts with everything I could ever want or need out of a gaming laptop and with a long enough battery life to (hopefully) last me a whole day on small loads. (I'd plug in if I really had to game) I was curious if maybe yall would have suggestions or counter suggestions to this. Thanks! http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5696#kf
  7. Kind of out of ideas. I'd keep looking and talk to others on the forum. I'm sure you can find a much better deal than what you originally proposed. Hope I could help a bit!
  8. Not what ideal but its a bit better. You've probably already looked at this though since its straight off newegg.ca. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315355
  9. My bad mate. Let me see what I can find. I didn't realize you were looking for something in canada.
  10. It's definitely not bad. I'm not a fan of pentiums. It lacks in storage and wifi capabilities. I don't know how far the battery will get you. If you want my opinion I feel you can get a better laptop for the price.
  11. This one may fit you well. Screen isnt ideal but its got decent battery, and i3 and storage for dayz https://laptopninja.io/laptops/lenovo-g50-80l000alus/
  12. What is your budget? If it is not much thats not a bad thing, I just want to know so maybe you could find a better one with slightly better specs. I personally have never been a huge fan of HP as a laptop manufacturer. Id prefer a lenovo.
  13. What kind of schooling? Highschool or college? Also, are you aiming for a low budget laptop?
  14. @Vercii That's what I would do if quick charging is considered worse for a phone, but if I can just stay with quick charging then I wouldn't need to buy a battery bank.
  15. Id say go for it. Unless you run stuff only compatible with 7 I'd upgrade now and begin figuring out what you like and dislike about it. It is a slightly smoother experience in my opinion and although I did not like it at the start the simple tweaks and improvements made are actually pretty neat. Cortana can be fun and all together it isn't that much different. You will get used to it in no time. I give it a thumbs up.
