  1. What are y'all thoughts on the Corsair CV550. Is it like another one of those green labels? Or quality?

    1. Spotty

The CV550 is the VS550 with improved efficiency (80+ Bronze).

  2. She was just flashed by me, and she wasn't happy ;)

Credit where credit is due, Apple (unlike a lot of companies) knows who their customer case is! You would be suprised at the number of companies that try to produce something they don't do or sell to a type of customer they don't normally serivice, and it always fails spectacularly.

I do believe apple is a great company and achieves customer satisfaction by far. The one concern will always be pricing. I remember when the first Mac pro released, and apple compared there Mac Pro to a Dell Precision I believe. Apple succeeded in bringing it's pricing down $800 dollars. And it was essentially the same hardware as a precision. Now from what I see, I'm not sure why apple needs to price there devices so high, I'm not sure if it's for inflation or what. But people have managed to essentially build the same computer with the same hardware for much less. I can't speak for iOS devices and I'm not familiar with them.

He supported sweatshops in China. I have no sympathie for him whatsoever.

On top, Apple Livestyle Products are overpriced Junk. But i agree, Apple found its Targetgroup and it is willing to get screwed over. So all done right.

  5. Everyone out here buying new AMD and Intel processors, while i'm buying a Mid 2010 Mac Pro which is running unsupported software.

      Ashley xD

@GDRRiley the GeForce 600 series is supported because of the 2012 MacBook Pro and iMac which are both still supported on Catalina.

      Should've asked $100

  7. Man I've had no luck on getting LTT edition fans, I don't know why I never bought any before. I really need it to complete my build.

  8. Honestly the i5 and i9's are the only logical processor to use. (I'm talking Intel specifically) I mean maybe even the i3 if it's like a budget build, it's essential a Skylake or kaby lake i7 anyways. Though probably at that point I'd just go ryzen.

  9. I broke my promise and bought an apple product.

  11. Is there a HD audio plug to headphone and microphone? Without a board on it?

  12. So I plan on setting up a network on a lake lot in a rural area. The internet is a LTE signal, not much can be done there. But because this is a huge lake lot, it will need wifi coverage down to the lake from the three cabins and garden on the lake lot. I am planning to hardwire everything, and get some direct burial armored ethernet cable. However, I plan to either use Google WiFi or Ubiquiti. Google WiFi can work, though it cannot be placed outside. Giving me the idea that I will have to go with Ubiquiti. There is a huge stretch between the network room and the garage. Likely over 400 feet. Is there a way I can somehow repeat some of these signals without, degrading the signal via ethernet? Thanks :0

Use a camp fire and smoke signals @Dawson Wehage

    3. Dawson Wehage

      Dawson Wehage

We have to use ethernet because the distances between the cabins are too long. We are investing $1500. And we will be using underground conduit and commercial ethernet which is armored.

  15. So y'all think Tim Hortons whipped cream topping is nasty?

    1. kelvinhall05

Yes. The only good drinks they make are their iced coffees, and that is only cause it is cheap as hell.

  16. @LinusTech At LTX 2018 you were wearing this rugged looking watch, I noticed it on the VIP limo. Any chance you can tell me what it's called?

    1. minibois

Might it perhaps be the Casino Android Wear watch?

There is an ad spot for it at 0:53 of this video.

    2. lewdicrous

      This watch?

    3. Dawson Wehage

      Dawson Wehage

@lewdicrous @minibois It didn't have android wear, it was a regular watch.

    1. Mira Yurizaki

      Mira Yurizaki

Sure, just copy ntoskrnel.exe and its supporting DLLs from a newer version of Windows and replace XP's with it.

      Lemme know how that goes.

    2. Dawson Wehage

      Dawson Wehage

@kelvinhall05 But I'm actually curious if there is a way to like modify the kernel to support Direct 11 or Vulkan at least.
