    Why get the TM version (278Q) when I can get the IPS for ~20$ difference (279Q)? As far as the 1440p 144hz IPS, my wallet can't survive it.

    Hello friends, I started to do research on a new monitor (I've had the same one for around 4.5 years now) and was overwhelmed by the sheer number of options. I was hoping I could give y'all some parameters and see what options you would recommend. -I have a GTX 1060, no preference between gysnc or freesync so long as it works -Preference for more than the 60hz I have now, around 120 maybe? -around 28-32 inch diagonal -around $300-400, more expensive options are ok but I'm not trying to destroy my wallet Any ideas?

    So I have done as suggested previously and put them both in all 4 slots separately and it only works w/ that one dimm in that one slot.

    Do you think the mb slots are dead or the ram stick? I'm planning on going to a repair place tomorrow and seeing if we can test it with different memory.

    I actually checked the seating and the one stick of ram that was working before is working now! Based on this information do you think the second stick of ram is just dead and the mb is fine?
