I was reading that there are issues with nvidia cards and dx12. Should I be worried at all?

Any particular reason?

So if putting the money in the gpu really is the main solution. Is it honestly worth the wait for pascal and Polaris? I have no gpu and plan on the evga 980 ti hybrid. I onow that pascal and such will be out soonish but there's always going to be upgrades soon and if I wait I'll always end up waiting.

Thanks for the input everyone. Im just really wondering will that extra $100 make a difference for me? I know it may not be substantial but will it help me enough that it could be worth the extra money to purchase it? I already have my computer fully build but I still am just doubting my decision. Edit: I also got the 6600k for about $212 and could get the 6700k for $50 off

Hey guys, Ive been working on my first new build in about 7 years and I really wonder if I should return my 6600k and get a 6700k instead. I am planning on using this rig for virtual reality, gaming, programming, and a little 3d printing. I have been readig some stuff about dx12s support of hyperthreading and how it will allow i7 processors to actually be taken advantage of in gaming not just their slightly higher overclock. Can I get some opinions? Is it worth it for me to purchase the 6700k and return my 6600k? Ive spend around $600 on mobo, ram, watercooler, cpu, psu, and case. All I have left is my gpu and decide if I should swap for the better cpu. Thanks everyone. New to this community and happy to see how it is.

Hello everyone, I've seen a few of the $10 off a purchase over $50 on some of the videos I have watched, however none seem to be functional. Does anyone know of one that is still working currently? I wanna purchase a kit but that $10 would really help lower the price to a more reasonable cost. Thanks!
