  1. Oh wow thank you. And yea, I had checked newegg, amazon, and corsair and all the retailers they listed on there that sell it. All were out of stock (and not going to get more) The hub is supposed to be $9.99, so its supposed to be cheap, but now that it's so hard to find, we'll see but that CDW link doesn't say out of stock. I'll contact them now. Thanks for finding that man! great job Heres to hoping they actually do have them and it isn't just a leftover page of an out of stock product
  2. Yea unfortunately I was only gifted the single LL140, which didn't come with the RGB hub or anything. And I can't find any online retailer that has the Corsair RGB Hub in stock. It's like Corsair is forcing me to buy the pack of fans that comes with it when I don't need the extra fans. I really hate it when companies do this. My only option is to pay a bunch more on ebay, or hope that I can find someone that is willing to sell theirs on a forum or something. If I can just get that rgb hub I can do the custom cable to my mobo and I'd be set without a ton of wires added to my case
  3. After looking at it more, it looks like this connecs the Corsair RGB Hub to your motherboard. So I'll still need to buy that. Unfortunately Corsair doesn't even sell it on amazon anymore. You have to buy it directly from them? Stupid. Still curious about the Splitty4 though Edit: Oh.. my mistake they do, but its freaking $60!!!! It's supposed to be 10. freakin corsair
  4. That connector you linked (the female end) looks like it's only 3pin though. I know it's going to convert it into a 3pin argb connector on the other end, but Corsair's LL120/140s use a 4pin rgb connector, so will that even fit? Do you know of anyone that has done this? Also, have you heard of the Aquacomputer Splitty4? It has the corsair LL connections, I'm just wondering if you can then plug it directly into your motherboard's argb header? https://www.aquatuning.us/water-cooling/monitoring/controllers-accessories/23656/aquacomputer-rgbpx-splitty4
  5. What did you mean by rgb hub? The Corsair rgb hub? or do you mean the rgb connector that comes off of the LL 120/140 fans? I was gifted a single LL140 cuz my rear exhaust fan went kaput but didn't realize it's supposed to work with the Corsair Lighting node and Commander Pro. I have an Asus Maximus X Hero and want to try and directly connect the rgb cable from the LL140 to one of the rgb headers on the motherboard. I'm just not sure which one to use? I thought the LL140 fans used aRGB, so I would assume thats 5v-data-empty-ground? or is it actually a normal 12v-G-R-B connector? I just don't want to short out my board or fan and unfortunately don't have a multi-meter. If you could elaborate I would really appreciate it
  6. an I'm trying to figure out if all of these damn things are just using false advertising. I can't stand that. If you show an image that represents your product, it better be able to do that. And they are all showing like 15+ zones with their own colors. kinda messed up tbh
  7. I'd like it to match my other leds. like my keyboard, ram, fans on my pc, my water cooling, etc I don't want some flickering, uneven, or shitty faded rgb leds. I'm just trying to get my room all setup the way I want.
  8. Oh trust me, I have. I've spent hours watching videos on each one. Most videos don't even go over the lighting effects. it's like these youtubers don't even bother to think that that might be an important thing to talk about an explain when reviewing an RGB pad. I've even checked the videos posted by Amazon.com reviewers. Most do not seem like they do it, but they all show images that they do. So yea, I just can't tell, which is why I'm asking here. Thanks for the info on the Goliath though. You know, out of all of them, that one should have. So that doesn't give me much hope for the rest as the Razer one has their software and is the most expensive
  9. Oh, I also found the Cooler Master MP750: https://www.newegg.com/cooler-master-masteraccessory-mp750/p/N82E16826993103 If anyone has any experience with any of these and knows if they can do a real rainbow wave effect, i'd appreciate it
  10. Hey guys, I was looking at getting an extended (like XXL) rgb mouse pad. Every single one of them show an image of it with all the rainbow colors on it at the same time, but I can't seem to find any that actually do that. It seems that most just use that light bar that is lit up by 2 leds in the control box. So with only those 2 leds, its impossible to do a true rainbow wave. When I think rainbow wave, I'm thinking like the Coolermaster 200mm fans that come on the H500M, or Gskill TridentZ RGB ram. Is there ANY extended rgb soft mouse mat that actually does this? Or do they all use the same "2 zone" bullshit? Was looking at: Razer Goliath Extended Chroma: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DG64YL9/ref=psdc_705323011_t1_B06XT1ZNQF SteelSeries Qck XL Prism: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HYXKWS9/ref=psdc_705323011_t3_B06XT1ZNQF?th=1 Luxcom RGB: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GSXJZSV/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_3eP9CbD22V4G3 This one, which seems like its from the same OEM manufacturer as Luxcom but has an additional USB passthrough: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7QM8ZM/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_eyO9CbZZZH8RQ Do any of these actually do that? Or does anyone know of one that does? Thanks for the info guys
  11. OH yea, I forgot to add Skyrim! If you have not played it, you NEED to play it. Do not miss out on that game. Especially now that they've released Skyrim Special Edition. They moved Skyrim over to the updated engine that Fallout 4 uses. They're also using high resolution textures, new lighting, depth of field, and a bunch of other visual improvements. Basically it looks just as good if not better than a highly modded version of Skyrim. Oh and it comes with all of the DLC (both the Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC are great) Skyrim is the game that turned me onto RPG's. I literally spent over 2000 hours in it. Not only is the main game great, but there are so many mods available for it. Want new spells? sure, new armor and weapons? no problem. Want a new questline? New areas and islands to explore? new races? Whatever you want to add or change, I guarantee there's already a mod made for it. Oh, and since you like FPS games like me, try using the bow and arrow for your main weapon, it's so satisfying to get long range headshots! lol (bow from a distance, 1 handed sword+spell for up close=so fun) Have fun!
  12. Gamessys has me taken care of, thanks to anyone else that was considering helping me out =)
  13. Would anyone be willing to part with one of their 3 beta invites? I've been following the game for a while but unfortunately i didn't get an invite email. My Uplay ID is Jtmarch86. I'd also be all for teaming up together, which I hear is the best way to play it. So if you have access to the beta and no one to team up with, I'm all for it. I'm off of work between now and next week so I can play anytime you want to. Anyways, thanks guys, I really appreciate it! P.S. It's ma birthday this week! *hint hint* Jtmarch86
  14. lol, well I hadn't tried it yet. I just got access to the beta today. Hopefully it'll be as good as it looks. The combat is probably going to take some time to get used to. We'll see.
