  1. It currently has 3 bids. The reason I made the thread was to notify anybody that was in the market for a GPU of this awesome steal.
  2. There is currently a listing for a Zotac AMP! GTX 1080 on eBay for $50. This is the full card and not the cooler or replacement fans. The seller has 100% positive feedback. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZOTAC-GeForce-GTX-1080-AMP-Edition-ZT-P10800C-10P-8GB-GDDR5X-IceStorm-Cooling-/162163046750?hash=item25c1abb95e:g:TvAAAOSwHoFXqNxO
  3. I think I might go for the RX 480s. If the price drops on the XFX or Sapphire 390s I might get those instead. Thanks for your help though.
  4. Most benchmarks have confirmed that because of driver updates the R9 390 performs better in nearly every game. In addition, there are no (correct me if I'm wrong) aftermarket models for the 480 yet. Plus, I can't find it anywhere.
  5. For my first build, I plan on using an i5-6600K and an R9 390, which paired with all of my other peripherals consumes 475W without any overclock, which I plan to. I also hope to eventually go CrossFire, and was wondering what wattage of a PSU I should get if I plan to overclock both graphics cards and the CPU. Without overclocking, the setup would consume 750W of power. What wattage and efficiency power supply should I go for?
  6. There is a pre-owned Gigabyte G1 tri-fan GTX 980 ti at the Boston Micro Center for:
  7. 2GB of VRAM is not enough for modern games. I'd say that 3.5GB or more is my recommendation for 1080p ultra.
  8. RX 460 comes out 8 August, I believe (don't quote me on this), and will outperform both. However, if you already have an A10-78x0K processor, an R7 250 would be my recommendation to you. Make sure you buy a DDR3 version, as GDDR5 will not work in dual graphics.
  9. I know that AMD is launching Polaris at Computex 2016, but should I bother getting a graphics card from that architecture? I was considering a 390X to pair with a 5820K, but I was wondering if Polaris would give me a significant performance boost for the same money (or not). Please help!
  10. For 720p absolutely. 8 cores and 8 threads will be amazing for light 3D work.
