Just learned looking at my purchase history that the card I bought is a 290X, not a 290.

Considering I paid $110 I'm not complaining.

 

Time to double++ that performance though :D

(I paid a bit much tbh but I really wanted a hybrid 1080 Ti)

    Have you somehow been running 290 drivers on it so far?

    @Aereldor nah, I never bothered to check since the card shows a "R9 200 series" in GPU-Z.

     

    But I checked the number of SPs against the Techpowerup GPU database and I do have a 290X
