  1. yeah no mate, there should be another way around that. I mean safemode doesnt expierence the same result
  2. Hi guys, My sister recently bought a Microsoft surface book 2 13". Now her biggest problem with the device is that explorer keeps crashing the system. While via other ways like dropbox we can browse all the files without any hickups. Hope you guys now a fix because its hard to work on a machine without being able to properly access youre files. *edit: when I click right mouse button on explorer and open any specific location it doesnt happen.
  3. Its a sapphire hd 7950 vapor x oc edition. Standard clock is 850mhz, there is a button on the graphics card itself and it bumps it up to 950. When I open radeon setting its says that the GPU clock speed is 950Mhz but like I said it locks itself to 501 mhz in idle and 850mhz under load. There cant be any temperature issues because it never ran over 70C and usually sits around 60 or less.
  4. Hi guys, I've got a bit of a problem over here. My gpu core is 500/1000 but the moment I open up any game it gets locked to 501/850. So I did some research first and found that Browsers Hardware acceleration was causing some people to have this issue. But that doesnt fix the problem for me. I also tried reinstalling my drivers. The core clock is fine with every other application but the moment I start a game its locks and stays locked till reboot. any help?
  5. This is exactly what I want to see from new technology. Small and powerful. Amazing product
  6. True any chance you know how you can see if a mobo can support the full speed of the samsung sm951? all I can find is that my mobo h (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 SATA & PCIe SSD supp) but i dont know if that is two lanes or four lanes? because if i got 2 lanes im switching to the old sata 600 ssd's
  7. So because I don't get all the stuff your saying im going to ask you this. If you were in a money thight situation and you had to choose either the 256gb 951/950 m.2 ssd the 951 for €140 950 €185,suffiencient airflow(2 top,2 side,1 front,1back,1 bottom. Which one would you get
  8. Haha I get where you are coming from but do you mean the m.2 variant or the regular 2,5"? I think because I can get warranty for two whole years on the 951 and because its €140 im going to try it! will report back though;)
  9. Honestly your CPU is fine I could stream perfectly well with an i7 860 and since i moved to my mom i've having the same issues with stream as you are having but with an i5 4690k, The sole differences is my upload My dad 8mb/s my mom 1,8mb/s. My suggestion sell you gtx960 spend the money you wanted to spent into your graphics card and upgrade to a 980 maybe? You will be much much happier.
  10. My current setup is an z79x motherboard with i5 4690k 8gb hyperx and 7950 vaporx oc from sapphire. One said about the samsung 951 that warranty is the biggest issue,I can get it with 2 year warranty, would it be a great buy in that case?
  11. OK,so basicly there is no real world Speed difference between a regular sata-600 ssd or An m.2 pci 3.0? My current situation is that I have total 1tb 5400 HDD,and it's pretty old but still doing the job fine,I'm one who likes to buy the "best" now, within budget, and don't buy until it either breaks down or is really outdated. I don't use a ton of space so I don't need a 4tb HDD if you know what I mean. What would you guys buy with €150 max? I prefer a m.2 ssd because of multiple reasons! Please let me know I really appreciate your help! PS. I'm just an average gamer I'm not looking for raid 0 because I'm still unfamiliar

  13. Hi guys. Recently I bought a new motherboard the Gigabyte z79x gaming 3. I've always wanted a ssd but my previous motherboard had only 3gb/s ports and I didnt want half my speed so I waited and now is finally the time to buy a new one!:) so initially I was just going to buy a normal 2,5" ssd. But when I installed my motherboard I noticed that I had an m.2 connector looked it up what is was and was pleasantly supprised. So now im looking at these two: 1. http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/460862/samsung-sm951-(nvme)-256gb/specificaties/ 2.http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/463643/samsung-950-pro-256gb/specificaties/ So basicly im no real expert with Storage devices so can someone tell me the differences between them I know you cant only look at read and write speeds but I dont know where I do need to pay attention to. for example number 1 has 2160mb/s read and 1260mb/s write and number 2 has 2200 over 900 but its like 25% more expensive so im a little confused. I would like to hear your opinion,my budget is around 150€ prefferably less but willing to pay more for a supperior product. these two are the only ones I can find but If you know a better one please tell me. Which one should I get? Thanks!:D ps. sorry for my shitty english;)
  14. I really appreciate your help but I dont want to buy one yet. I was just wondering how much it will improve my performance like for example in AC Syndicate. I can't find any good benchmarks with dual 7950 online for modern games. If I were to add another should I be thinking of an improvement of 5fps, 10fps 40fps? some info like that would be really insightful for me.
  15. Thanks for the quick reply. To be honest i just upgraded my cpu and motherboard(other died on me) so I'm kinda tight for money for a while. and since I've seen 7950 selling for arround 80-100 Euro it would be my only option because I wont upgrade to a better single GPU for at least two years.
