  1. So about a month ago i turned my PC on and I saw a screen like this for about 10 seconds, I got into windows and it vanished. But this morning i turned it on and it stuck around for like 5 minutes. It has since disappeared, it hasn't displayed long enough for me to swap cables or monitors. Sooo, What is it? While this is happening pixel response seems super slow. But when it fixes itself, its instant, panel is back to normal.
  2. I have been perusing the internets for a solid pair of headphones that are comfy and have a mostly neutral sound, that are punchy on the bass but still controlled, now i have come across two in my price range. Brainwavz HM5 (Comfy) Audio Technica ATH-M50x (Punchy) Now i do have problems with my ears touching the drivers so the M50's give a little concern based on comfort reviews. But every box bar one seems to be ticked in regards to the HM5's and that's bass, its apparently "ok" but not a strong point. Does anyone have a pair that they could shed some light on? Any other recommendations are welcome.
  3. 2 days ago my mother complained the PC i made her a few years ago was to big, Zotac you lifesavers you.
  4. I think i got it all sorted out with Auspost shopm8. I purchased it a minute ago.
  5. y thank you i did not know forwarding could be so easy.
  6. I live in good old Australia and i can't order spare parts from corsair. Because Straya. I have sent them numerous emails on how to obtain spare parts and i always get bland responses that its simply not possible. So is there a fine person out there willing to do a deed and acquire a spare part for me and ship it to Australia for me? I shall make sure the debt is paid. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/obsidian-series-350d-high-airflow-intake-kit This is all i'm after.
  7. I read somewhere that dx12 will make calls even more efficient. meaning even less saturation of the lanes. Personally i though it would go the other way.
  8. I'm trying to obtain a mesh front panel for my 350D from corsair Part.no CC-8930330, if i do what would you guys put in the front for intake corsair AF or SP fans. The hard rive cage wont be installed.
  9. Linus has performed a few tests over the years regarding 16x, 8x and 4x testing on graphics cards all while running DX11. Now we know that DX11 has a limit to draw calls at about 10,000. With mantle at least making 100,000 calls before it fizzled out. DX12 can reportedly make over 600,000 and i'm not going to even speculate what Vulkan wants to bitch slap everyone with. So i believe in the near future Someone (maybe Linus) needs to return to these PCI-E lane tests with different API's to see if soo many draw calls would benefit from more lanes in a greater way then DX11 almost didn't. I'm just curious as the latest 6th gen processors still only come equipped with 16x max support. When the moment you install an m.2 SSD, it go's and cuts the 16x slot in half. What do you guys think, worth investigating?
  10. I got myself a PVC figure of Takao from Arpeggio of blue steel from ebay and received a bag of green tea. Funny thing is at the time i was just sitting at my PC n i'm like "i need a drink :/" nek minit, Postie shows up mid way through boiling kettle. I just went "fuck it" plopped the bag in ma cup and waddled back over to my PC, twas a rippa of a day.
  11. You are right, the differences are minuscule, all I'm saying about 2666 is its usually $10-$12 away from 2133mhz where as the jump from 2133 to 3200 can be $35, times that by 2 stick and its $70 on top. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104572 So personally 2666 is all any gamer needs.
  12. I got a 350D and a h100i. I'm open to buying new fans BUT, if its in view of the side panel it has to have blue LED's Im currently Rear-Out, Gelid Wing Top rad-Out, OEM corsair Fans Front2-In, Gelid Wings PSU-down Now the only problem is my central heater system a 290 Vapor x OC that just kicks heat out into the case, how would you orientate the fans in a 350D?
  13. 1866 DDR3 is pretty much equal to 2133 DDR4 sometimes beating it sometimes loosing to it also. Get at least 2400 DDR4 to make sure your getting an improvement over previous gens. But I think 2666 is the sweet spot so far from DDR4.
  14. Well I would either say FX-6300 or A10 7700k I'm not sure where your based, but either roughly worth $150 and perform much the same, an i3 would be close in performance but wouldn't actually pass as a 4 core CPU, in a couple games. Sooooo tada?
