Apologies if this has been brought up before! Looking to find out the idle temps of Ryzen 1700x with a kraken x42 cooler. Just finished my first build and noticed the cpu temp had reached 40C while in the bios. I did not keep the pc running to see if it went any higher! One thing that I did do while building was place and remove the cooling block onto the cpu once or twice while trying to find the right configuration. Some of the thermal paste from the cooling block stayed on the cpu. Would it be a good idea to clean it and apply fresh thermal paste? Unfortunately I have no internet at the moment and have not installed windows yet! So the only info I’m going off is from the bios! Part list - https://pcpartpicker.com/user/TJC-/saved/gNpZLk

This is the channel that got me into PC Gaming and Tech in general! If it wasn't for this channel I would have never built my own PC nor have the knowledge to advise my friends / family on anything to do with PC's / Tech in General! Thank You so much! and Congrats on 1Million Subs!

Thoughts on this monitor?? I have heard that it has a ghosting issue. Is it that bad and was it fixed recently?? If anyone has any other suggestions that would be great.
