    Hey I have that same board running one of my 970s. lol. This just became my new favorite shopping site. lol. I would double check that with nvidia-smi (don't remember the command to do it in windows) because my 2070 is oc'd and even though it has a 250w power limit when checking it, it doesn't pull more than 185 most of the time.

    This is awesome. We as linus tech tips team are in the top 100 super computers in the world. This is the original point of distributed computing to be able to give the power of super computers to work on projects that might otherwise not be able to afford them.

    Does this include gpu's for instance like the 2070 and 1080ti not getting big enough work units to be fully utilized?

    Well never had a system to try them on and they're already gone. lol.

    Once you're one of us the disease sets in. Then you keep buying computer parts and taking old broken computers from work, eBay, and Craigslist just to have another PCIe slot for yet another graphics card that you cant remember buying... in the distance sirens.

    I think folding month just took its first victim. The built in sound card on my gaming tower... Luckily everything else still works fine. lol

    In all honesty it could probably handle another 1070 or probably even 2 80 series just might have to use the fan more. But should still easily be within the spec depending on your cpu and such.

    Ah the competition is getting intense. I like this. This is huge. Actually out producing Curecoin is the craziest thing I could possibly imagine. Make sure you activate your bonus by entering your passkey. Ah British problems and how little the rest of the world cares. And by rest of the world I mean US. lol

    ? I'm down to help how I can. Yeah I have a feeling they're pushing this project hard right now. On my 2070 on Linux its only using 85% gpu and dropped from 1.6 to 1.3m ppd. Basically the full power of one of my 970's

    Actually I'm wondering if there are any good boinc projects for cpu at this point since I do have some power to spare there. Also thinking about selling off the 670 and 2 970s to see if that would be enough to pick up a 2060 or something.

    Even better news was if they did have email if the server was down or there was a local network issue it was likely they couldn't get to it anyways. lol. Yeah I'm with you there since I am now a folding legend I need to get rid of this bronze boinc one. Also the pentathlon this spring will be huge.

    I have a feeling that most people will hit a high today as the stat servers were down for 6 hours last night and applied the points early this morning.
