  1. Im planning to build a gaming pc that can play the lastest games like BF3, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, FFXIV, and the upcming BF4 at the highest settings @60fps or more. I play using only a single monitor 1080p. The components that I came up with are: CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard Memory: A-Data XPG Gaming Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Video Card: MSI Nvidia GTX 660 Ti Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply I didnt include the case and HDD because I have them from my previous pc. Will this be able to play all the games stated above @60fps 1080p? Or do i need to upgrade to FX-8320 and HD 7950? Would that give me better fps? Please advise. Thanks
  2. Thank you very much for your help. I cant stress enough how relieved I am right now. Im going to be buying the rest of my computer parts today. Again, thank you very much. This has lowered the costs greatly too! :D
  3. Im buying from shops/individuals who post their items through www.tipidpc.com. It is the go-to site for us to look for the best prices on current items. Maybe I cant wait that long. I wanted to build my rig ASAP when I finally get to choose what combo is best to be used. Right now, the ROG products here in the Philippines cost a lot. The G1 Sniper 5's price is much lower that the ROG products. Maybe I'll just stick to the GTX 780 SLI and get a MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard?
  4. Thanks for your fast and detailed replies. Im going with the 4770k for my processor. The only problem now is choosing a good motherboard that can support tri-sli, which I am not sure with anymore. I think ill just settle with the SLI GTX 780 for now as I have the cards with me. Any recommendations for a suitable motherboard for my plan? Thanks again guys!
  5. Im gonna be playing at 3 1920x1080 monitors. Its the Benq XL2420T 120hz monitor. Its purely for gaming. Sorry I wasnt clear on my first post. Im gonna have to edit that. Thanks
  6. Hello. I am new to the LTT forums and I am asking for help regarding my triple monitor gaming setup. My monitors are gonna be the Benq XL2420T at 5760x1080. I have chosen the Tri-SLI GTX 780 for my gpu. I am having trouble looking for a good processor and motherboard combo that would support my plan. Its purely for gaming. Initially, I wanted to do this combo: Processor: Intel i7 4770k or Intel i7 3930k Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 or Asus Rampage IV Formula But as i read and read through countless forums, I got pretty confused as to what i should really choose. I read in some forums that the 3770k, 3570k and 2600k can also support my plan. Other forums state that they wont as they would bottleneck the Tri-Sli Gtx 780. As I cant really set my mind to choosing the best combo, please help me in doing so. I already have the 2 780s as a gift from my friends who just came home from the states. Im from the Philippines so maybe some parts wont be in stock or wont be sold here. The last 780 will come after deciding what combo is best to use with it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
