  1. The C7 is a low profile cooler that would provide a negligible difference in temps.
  2. The memory is absolutely fine, with regards to overclocking, I would recommend waiting until you get a bit more experience with building a PC and then by all means go for it, for now though the stock cooler will be perfect.
  3. Hmm well it seems you already know what you want, and yes, the 8 cores provided by the 2700 will be very useful in applications like blender. Also, a 1070ti overclocked will indeed perform similarly to a 1080 (they share the same GP104 architecture), and if you do plan to overclock obviously save the money and get the 1070ti. If you can, try to stretch your budget and get one of the new 20 series cars or a 1080ti, other than that, you seem to be ready to order?
  4. Ok, in that case, your system will have to push a resolution of 5760 by 1080 which is close to as many pixels as 4k (6m vs 8m). It would be better if you tried to stretch for a 2070 or a 1080/1080ti and maybe drop the CPU down to a Ryzen 5 or i5 (unless you plan on using it for anything other than gaming and general web browsing).
  5. Are you running the game in an ultrawide setup (all three monitors running the game)? Or do you just want one monitor with the game, and the other 2 will be utilised for other programs? That will make a large difference in the GPU power required.
  6. I recommend heading over to tonymacx86.com , they really know their stuff when it comes to building a hackintosh, they have great guides for part selection and installation.
  7. The Oculus Rift combo is down to 400$
  8. Hmm... Double check that you get a water cooler with removable pipes (I believe Fractals, Thermaltakes and a couple others are)
  9. Looks like water cooling it is, everything is either to tall, cant handle X99 heat, or doesn't support LGA 2011-3....
  10. Yeah I did see that when he made it but not sure I want to do that... It is my backup tho.
  11. nope its to big, needs to be under 56cm.
  12. I'll do a quick dimensions test, plan on using a Node 202...
  13. It looks pretty damn well built... Will wait for more premium version/V2.0 though, a companies first laptop doesn't always go so well. But I think its was finally time for Xiaomi to get into to the laptop market considering they are in so many other other tech markets.
  14. Hey guys, I am looking for a low profile LGA 2011-3 Narrow cooler. Didn't come up with anything. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
