I've ran a MC server before. 

It really doesn't take alot of PC to run one. It's more about the connection speed than anything. 

ROG Hero Alpha.. Bluetooth Wifi, M2 slot, RGBs, 

It can run SLI with an m2. Just disables the bottom PCIE slot.

Just buy the correct 6 or 8 pin.

Cablemod's configurator lets you pick, 6 or 8 pin.

I've got the Note 5 for personal, and LG G3 for business.

The Note is on Verizon and G3 on Sprint. (Sprint gave a better deal for my business landlines and cellphones)

Im not on a root or anything. I like the Note, It's just I probably need to root to fix some issues I have, but I don't know how to, nor do I feel like fucking up a phone.

Why buy an expensive motherboard only to stick a lower end i7 into it?

Yea Ive heard about the pricing down there. 

Its definitely 120 USD difference here too. I wanted that board too but I just didnt want to spend 400 bucks on something that's mostly covered up.

Save the money and buy the Hero Alpha.

The Formula is overpriced for what it offers. The Hero Alpha does all the same stuff, minus the motherboard armor and a few extra RGB lights.

Youre talking spending almost 750 bucks to buy 2 parts of a pc. Some people build a pc for that budget. 

IIRC, in 4x4 ram configs it slows it down a little over a dual channel config. 

As far as ram, go to Asus's site, find your board. On its page, click support in the top right. (not asus support, your mobo support) then click memory and find the QVL. Find some ram on that list and use it.

@Speedyv Theres all my pokemon.

Got rid of some because they had moves like Hyper Beam or other moves I could never use in battle.

I hate a good pokemon if it has a 2nd move thats got more than 2 bars. 

I camped out at a pokestop for almost 2 hours and magmar randomly popped in.

I've spent some time in the game. I've evolved around 20 pokemon. I catch EVERYTHING. Regardless what it is, I catch it. Even if it's just to get the 4 candy from it. I catch it, and transfer it.

That's the one thing I do. Plus catching everything is XP which helps crank through levels.  I'll screen shot my phone sometime. You can see some of my team.

I looked for an hour for this 3 pawprint Pikachu. I got it as close to being the first one in the nearby list, just couldn't get it any closer than 3.

Jealous of a few of yours, even if they are low CP. That Nidoking, Sandslash and Graveler. 

I evolved one Eevee. It was Jolteon. I need to find a good high CP Eevee and hold onto it for that. If I don't have an immediate use, it's off to Professor. I take my candy and run.

I'm going to see if I can pump up a few mid level CP pokemon to higher level.

Got some more but its mostly random Ghastly, Dratini, A good oddish, the 3 starters with higher cp.

My gf snagged a low low cp Dragonite. She got a few good ones, shes not that into it. She plays it, catches a few herr and there but isnt leveling any. 

Ive Caught 81, seen 102. 

My character level is 16. 

Managed all those within 3 hours at the Air Force Museum in my area. Its filled with pokestops at different airplanes.

I just wish I could hatch something out of an egg that was something I need. I keep getting repeats of stuff.

Just be aware most are 30mm thick with 25mm thick 120mm fans. 

Managed to catch a CP 500 Snorlax.

Then 2 blocks down the road ran into a Dragonite on the nearby thing. Looked around got it to finally show up. Fed it 2 berrries and got a great throw and it ran. 

Oh well. I tried for Dragonite. It was a low CP. It was like CP74. Just a random spawn of it in the same area as stupid easy Pokemon. 

Realized you dont actually need to be by water to actually see water types. Caught horsea, seadra and a couple krabby while walking the dog.

I own a small car hauling company. Recently, ive come into the need to print while in the truck.  Just paperwork, id love to get a printer scanner that could be operated with a capable cell phone. Preferably Android, my drivers and I all have android phones.

Probably bluetooth, since I know my phone is capable of sending data over bluetooth. 

I can get a good power inverter to power it. I just need a good decent printer scanner. 

It can be a small one that is only a couple inches wide, as long as it can support a 8x11 standard sheet of paper. 

Anyone know of a good mobile printer scanner?

I know that feeling. 

Its like lately its just bug filled junk game after another. Im getting tired of those early access games.

Then it doesnt help the games are just remakes of old games, or copies of games.

I just wish theyd come out with a completely original game that wasnt on kickstarter, steam green light and all that.

Its nothing against these smaller game devs, some have great ideas but fail to deliver.

I just wish it wouls go back to the way it was. Studios put out good games, completed games, that have very minor issues. Not heres a 60 dollar game that is junk, that wasnt bug tested, and when you gamers complain we shut down studio.

Just for curiosity, Im a little lost on monitors. 

Which is better for color reproduction, better angle and such. 

Im running 2 x34s and im kinda over the curved thing, plus id rather have a good capable 4k screen since i have the horsepower to run it.

Yea, i checked the room temp with a laser temp gun and on the ac it was 32. The rooms ambient temp was 45f.

I put on a hoodie and thicker pjs to be able to sit in there. 

It was window fogging up cold. 

I could try for colder temps but id prolly have to break out the carhartt overalls, sweater and jacket. 

I might under clock the cpu and see how low can it go. I wonder if i could manage a negative temp with the pc sitting in front of the ac.

Ran into an issue witu my 6700k, it OC failed. 

So its back to stock for now.

Since I had 3 pcs in my office, its been getting warm. So i got the window AC out. When its running, it can get the room down right cold. 

The window ac unit is meant for cooling a room 3 times larger than my office. 

I let it run all night, turned my pc on this morning and saw those temps. 

Just an h100 on push pull, 3 140 intakes. 

It was just idling with a few things running. Tried to get it colder, but wouldnt budge.

So your changing from a CPU that overclocks well, to one thats VERY dependant on the silicon lottery?

Just buy a new board, and stick with the CPU that's more OC friendly.

Youre not taking into account the 320-350 for the 6700k, which is a total waste for gaming.

Another 100 for a decent kit of ram.

150-250 for the Z170 board.

Sure if you want to blow money and upgrade, do it. The 4790k is capable enough and it's not even old news yet.

The only reason everyone is comparing to the 6700k is because it's the newest consumer line processor. 

The 4790k will last another couple years before it needs upgraded. Its not needed to upgrade.

Your pc with a capable card will do 1440p.

Just for shits and giggles, I took one of my 1080's out of my 6700k and threw it in the 4790k system my gf uses. Ran 1440 benchmarks, ran the same ones against my 6700k and its within 10%. 

Is 10% worth 500-600 bucks?

Stick with that you got.

I jumped from that cpu to a 6700k and other than getting ddr4 ram, that and a minor performance upgrade. It really wasnt worth spend the at a minimum to jump from one to the other, $600 bucks. 

Devil's canyon will hold it's own for a while. So it's just basically a "you want 6700k" but don't need 6700k. Same for x99. It's 600 minimum to go to skylake, add probably another 200 to jump to X99. 

Looks like the stock was taken off, and maybe acrylic replaced to that one.

Find an acrylic company in your area. They'll be able to probably sell your the correct sized piece, along with doing the necessary cuts to make it custom.
