  6. as you increase voltage so does resistance to at that frequency the resistance is pretty high... the idea is more you can cool it the lower the resistance and higher the overclock... try using a phase cooler instead of regular watercooling... or if youre really crazy set up a testbench with liquid nitrogen for cooling to get crazy overclocks
  7. upgrade to 1000 watt supply also what all components are you using depends on that too
  8. amd cpus tend to get a bit hotter had the same problem, as far as your graphics card is concerned its probably being pushed to its limits n hence getting really hot

  10. resistance may be an issue, so yeah bad wiring is a real possibility...
  11. old xeons are pretty cheap and work really good to, an old dual cpu mother board, and graphics card, since datacenters are always upgrading youll find these parts for pretty cheap and will work on par with brand new much more expensive stuff! so yeah...
  12. ebay to the rescue! get old server stuff...its probably your best shot at your budget, once you've got your parts ready, im sure the good people at LTT forum will help you with any troubleshooting
