  2. Hi guys, Im desperate and need some help please. I build a new pc (specs below) last week and it keeps on freezing randomly on me. The installation of parts, software and updates went fine. Im running Windows 10 64 bit home edition and updated it (Nov update). The pc was running well without issues until I played CS Source with my younger brother (only few hours after the build) and boom, computer just froze. Not even 5 mins in. Nothing worked. Even the lights on my Corsair K95 RBG keyboard froze. I had to hard reset it. When it rebooted there were no error messages or anything. Later it froze again during normal web browsing. Same story. This has been happening randomly and every time I restart it theres no error message. Sometimes after I reset I get an error message "overclocking failed". I havent overclocked anything and BIOS is running in default setting. I made sure all the software was updated and even updated the BIOS but that didnt even help. I also reinstalled windows twice and still no bacon! Specs: CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz Motherboard: Asus Z170-a ATX RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16Gb DDR4 3000MHz GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 980Ti 6Gb Strix PSU: Corsair Hx1000i Hard drive 1: Samsung 950 PRO 256Gb M.2 (boot drive) Hard drive 2: Samsung 850 EVO 500Gb 2.5" SSD CPU Cooling: Corsair H100i GTX Case Cooling: 3x 140mm fans Does anyone have any advice or had the same issue? All the components are brand new. I dont want to keep on hard resetting my computer as it cant be good for the components. Also the temps in the computer is fine as it is very well ventilated. Any advice will really help as the last time it froze was during a LTT video and we all know we cant have that!! Thanks in advance
