  1. " After April 8, 2014, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or technical support for Windows XP " According to a quick google search. I know that certain places still use XP, however they do so for compatibility sake.
  2. XP should be on there - It's no longer supported by MS afaik. +1 for 95 / XP, they're a tie for me.
  3. I use a Sony Xperia Z5 with a 200gb micro SD card - It's glorious. I prefer android, since I love emulating NES, SNES, N64 and more on the move without rooting/jailbreaking anything. Decent battery life, waterproof, and a rather gorgeous phone in my opinion (I have the black version)
  4. Try updating your mobo firmware/bios if an update is available? Try changing PCI-e slot, and other outputs on the GPU. If all this fails, you may have a dead card D:
  5. So I dunno how you guys feel about this. But this post is to have a little 'archive' of links to my music I use Ableton Live 9, a launchkey 49 and some dinky little headphones. If you're interested in learning a bit about audio production, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment in this thread. My contact details should be on my profile page too - so feel free to use them! Current WIP: [Drum and Bass] Previous releases: Wildchild: Let Go:
  6. Why not smartphones? After getting a Sony Xperia z5 recently, I'm amazed at it's specs and storage options (I'm currently running a 200gb micro SD in it). Linus can also leave it in the rain. I'd love to see flagship phones pitted against each other, comparing the 'big hitters' like samsung, HTC and Sony against the smaller companies like Meizu, Vivo, and Xaomi. Other things for content: - Read/write speeds to internal/external storage. - PC connection speeds. - Cellular network/wifi speeds. - Screen colour accuracy and quality assessment. - The actual capabilities of the phone, processing power wise (benchmarks, gaming). - Camera testing. - Overclocking capabilities (on rooted devices). - Overall build quality/materials used. - Real-world battery life/performance There are many rather glorious smartphones out there with impressive features (Z5 premium, 4k screen anyone?)
  7. Powercolour HD 5770. Sliders cranked up in afterburner, 105c temp, no throttling, still going strong in a friends PC!
  8. Just a little game for your amusement! There are 4 differences in these 2 images. Can you find them?
  9. Well yeah, emulated solutions will never have the same quality as the real thing What I meant was using the raw guitar input and a few tools to convert audio into midi so you can essentially perform piano parts on a guitar and have it be converted to midi for use on other instruments, to gain that creative freedom back
  10. I feel your pain. SO much pain. From what I can hear in the video, you played the tits off that bass! The band actually sounds pretty damn good, so much distortion though. That poor mic. Have you tried routing you bass through your PC? to allow a little more creative freedom.
  11. Requested access and yeah, i felt the same way about the creativity side of things, so I invested in a MIDI keyboard. It really really helped!
  12. Nice, yeah I just followed and had a listen to some of your quick little demos on SC, you have potential man, keep at it! If you need help with mixing/mastering or anything, feel free to ask me anything! Here's a little demo of my work: Wildchild
