  1. Why not? I ran 5ghz for 5 years on my 2500k with noctua nh d-14.
  2. More vcore. I was running 5ghz since the launch of the 2500k up until recently. I had to back it down to 4.7 . edit: 1.45v
  3. What do you mean it wont let you? Did you put the old card back in and try ddu?
  4. http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 10 - 64 Latest rx 460 drivers.
  5. Uninstall the old video drivers with DDU. Then insert the new card. http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html And download the latest from AMD site.

  7. You wont see a bit of difference for gaming. Save your money and buy a 1080ti when it comes or a 1080 now.
  8. Hold out till AMD zen or INTEL kaby lake for a new system. Overclocking your current cpu would help a bit. And just buy a new gpu for now. Whats your budget?
  9. The 1060 6gb is currently the better card in most games. Current pricing actually puts it at better value for your dollar. Saying the 480 runs hot is a joke. Compare the 1060 and rx 480 cards using the same cooler. Then comeback and say that again. AMD have video capture also. Shadowplay is kind of a moot point now.
  10. Wait for zen or kaby lake. And upgrade your gpu before anything. Still plenty of life left in a 2500k. Your not going to see a big jump in performance for gaming going to a 6600k.
  11. Just wondering why you would buy a b150 mobo and unlocked 6600k chip?
  12. My 2500k at 4.7ghz is doing fine still. Games are starting to hit the limits of sandybridge tho. BF1 for example had me at 80-90% usage. I'm just waiting to see what zen has to offer before I upgrade.
  13. Never finished it. Everything is a bit repetitive. Nothing really excited me to continue playing. If you loved the movie you'll prob enjoy the game.I'd say it's worth the $9 tho. Thats like 50 cents an hour if you complete it.
  14. Oh nice. Wonder why it wasn't coming up for me. I guess she could do without a mic. And they are in stock. Which the Siberia are on back order right now. Closest NCIX to me is 8 hours away.I use to live right by one.But yah they'll ship it to me. NCIX has always been great for me since they price match. Its my daughters Christmas present so I don't think the wife would buy used . Yes I was looking at the neos. Would be the perfect case honestly. I may splurge a bit . Here I am trying to bring down the price EDIT: Found the neos for $54.99. Just going to go ahead and get it
  15. Cost. Thats why my original build was the i3. But if an apu build was less I would consider it. No hdmi Staying stock for cost. Mainly sims so no gpu. The keyboard, mouse and headphones are not available at NCIX . Thanks for trying tho. Im trying to save somewhere haha
  16. They have better gpu performance then the hd 530 in the i3 6100. But Im not sure I want to sacrifce the cpu performance. In case she adds in a gpu later.
  17. Im sorry but i cant change the peripherals and fans . She wants everything purple. And the case needs a sidewindow. I guess i should have included all that in the op lol
  18. pcie x 16 gen 3 and 6 sata That doesnt include any peripherals or the fans.
  19. Suggestions? It need to be h170 with 2x pcie slots or wifi. The mouse is $49.Cant get much cheaper for rgb. She wants it to be purple. How so? Suggestions would be nice? $800 with taxes. From NCIX Canada .Suggest a mobo? Needs to be h170 and have 2 pcie slots or wifi. Tell me some cheaper options that are purple... Interesting build. Thanks She breaks laptops. I've already went that route twice.
  20. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/KF889W Anyone got any suggestions to make this cheaper without sacrificing the purple peripherals and fans. Or maybe an APU build? No need for a gpu. She'll just be mainly playing light games like Sims. $800 with taxes . Including mouse, keybaord and headset.(Must be purple theme) Case with side window.
  21. Since when did battery tech get so good? Your not going to find a mouse that will last years without recharging. You could get the m705 and rechargeable batteries.
