  1. My friend made this video for his final. The idea is a modular system that enables you to stack different components on top of each other. What do you guys think? Would this be something you would be interested in? Thanks!
  2. Obviously my magical computer skills.... However I do wish to find it still!
  3. I've done that... I'm not one to not be able to google something but I am stumped as well.
  4. no there is nothing....just the pinned programs
  5. Well it does not say "Ask me anything" like other windows 10 computers... it says "search windows"
  6. Hey guys! I'm disabled Cortana a while ago and I am trying to re enable it... however I can't seem to find where to do that. When I don't have access to the notebook icon and the only mention of cortana settings don't contain anything useful: Thanks!

  8. Hello, I am ordering ram for the i7-6700k... and I noticed that on the intel specs page it says the voltage needs to be 1.35 volts: http://ark.intel.com/products/88195/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_20-GHz however the ram I want to use is 1.2 volts see here: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f42133c15d16gvr Will this ram work? is the 1.35v a max voltage for the i7-6700k? Thanks, Trevor
  9. Hey! Thanks for an actual response!!! Problem is I don't want to get into water cooling, and I don't think there is much need because I am not going to overclock it! Is there any way you could try and get it down please? Thanks a ton for your help! Tr3v0r_C
  10. Thanks a ton! I will look at this... Seriously THANKS!
  11. There wouldn't normally however the Canadian dollar is crap right now (71 cents per dollar)! Thanks though!
  12. I never said this had to be a purely gaming build! It just has to be able to handle games, if thats what I throw at it!
  13. Hey guys! I'm new to computer builds, but not new to tech. So let me start off with why I am upgrading. A couple of days ago before I went to bed I decided I should save energy, so I turned off my computer. The next day I go back to my computer and I get a lovely windows 8.1 (because my computer didn't like windows 10) blue screen of death, of course with their stupid and stuff staring you in the face... anyway long story short, I'm taking this opportunity to get (build) a new computer. This will be my first build.. and I want it to last... By which I mean I want to be able to upgrade it in the future (maybe). These are my requirements / purposes for my computer: I want an SSD as the boot drive, and a HDD as regular storage I need it to run games at a nice speed (so a medium graphics card) right now I have 4 monitors, none are 4k, but I need something that can run games, and spit out lots of pixels without getting mad) <sidenote / background info> So basically... I want to tell you what I do, so you know what kind of computer I need.... In short, I do everything... One week I play Minecraft, the next I am editing video, the next I am building a website... I need this computer to be fast no matter what I throw at it. </sidenote / background info> ok so lets continue: I want a nice processor, not too caught up on 6 or 8 cores, as long as its fast ((I am prepared to spend a fair chunk of the budget on this) Ram wise.... I have two 8gb sticks of:DIMM DDR3 Synchronous 1600 MHz (0.6 ns) Not sure if I should keep that ram.... or get ddr4 (if the cpu supports it) OK, well other than that (and possibly a windowed case ((window not necessary))) this is all that I require, so the most important part is the budget, my budget is between $1000 and $1400 cad, this total must include tax! Thanks a ton! Tr3v0r_C
