  1. https://adobe-video.uservoice.com/forums/911233-premiere-pro/suggestions/36257581-yes-please-support-linux-this-would-be-a-huge-m?page=1&per_page=20 The adobe people sound rightly reserved about this but the more software that works on Linux the more people that will use it and the more software that will get written for linux.
  2. 1050 ti probably a bit out of my budget even if it does provide better price to performance. I'll have a look at used graphics cards.
  3. Okay so I've got this old PC and a £70 £69 upgrade budget, it'll be used for web browsing, office work maybe some e-sports from time to time but it's not even going to be driving a 1080p monitor. Here is the list of random components: AMD phenom II X4 B95 8GB RAM (4*2GB) DDR3 1 TB WD Blue hard drive GT 210 Some HP half-height case (but does have room for wide video cards) 32GB sandisk readycache ssd The PSU is about 240-300W I'm not sure exactly I have no idea what the motherboard is So what is your £69 suggestion?
  4. I run a wait for it gtx 210 (I am cheap). So I want to upgrade because well, I would like to be able get somewhere near/above 60fps on a 720p monitor. So please I know you're not reading this person at LMG may I...
  5. How do I copy the user environment (e.g. desktop icons, background, and task bar colour) data from a PC running 32-bit (no idea if this matters) windows 7 home to a PC running 64-bit (again no idea if this matters) windows 7 professional. Any help is welcome.
  6. Thanks for that solution. I will try it and report back.
  7. My dad has two windows 7 PC's (one with Home Premium and one with Professional), and he has discovered the nightmare that is file sharing. I know there are lots of ways which I could get them to talk to each other and sync files but I have no idea which one is the best one; so any help is good. P.S. I have tried persuading him to upgrade to windows 10 but he likes to just get on with stuff and "not learn unnecessary stuff" so any solutions need to work with windows 7. Thanks
  8. NEW VIDEO SUGGESTION: Best cost to performance PC challenge I have a suggestion for a video Linus, similar to scrap yard wars only contestants are judged upon performance (E.g. total FPS) divided by cost. So say one PC got 9,000 FPS and cost $300 its score would be 30. Do stuff with this thread if you like the idea.
