  1. Motherboard - Asus Crosshair Hero VI X370 Hello, I need help as I have tried everything I have thought of. Currently I have not had my PC on in over a month now. Reason being as I was changing from soft tube to hardline and other issues came up stopping me from doing this hence the long wait. I had some issues but now everything is sitting in right (had bent pins fixed it, although both times I took my cpu block out my cpu came out with it even though it was secured in the socket. THE CPU READY LIGHT is GREEN so I know the cpu is okay). My issue is that my motherboard will not post or go to the bios screen it has continuously stayed on q code 8 and I can not figure out a way to fix it can someone help me, or is it the worst case possible that I have to RMA my board... So I have tried changing the ram slots getting no where with it. I have tried 6 different bios and still nothing.
  2. I've unplugged everything and replugged them all back in nothing missing at all. The motherboard gets some sort of power because its able to turn on the aura lights and the cpu ready lit also the led for the start button on the motherboard. The psu is working completely as I was able to use the jump cable to run my loop test for 24 hours with it also its giving power saying the cpu is ready so don't see how the psu could be wrong. By the looks of it I'll have to RMA the motherboard and hope its fixed.
  3. Yeah I've tried that button it is lit up but nothing happens when I press it. I have pressed the CMOS button cleared it even updated the bios still nothing at all. They are fully in the whole way. Some water spilt but it went straight onto the paper towels I had laying around it
  4. That's right but when I was doing the 24 hour leak test when I had to jump. The psu it was working. I don't.
  5. Yeah you can leave them on it off it just needs power going to it though but the fact the power button doesn't work at all
  6. I'm using the power button on the case and the mobo nothing happens at all
  7. Yeah exactly it the cpu ready light is green all lights on but nothing happen ING when I try to turn it on
  8. The 8 pin is in fully and I already took the ram out and put them back in
  9. Hey guys and girls so need kinda a lot of help. So I've recently changed from soft tube and went to hardline also adding my gpu to the loop. Everything worked fine before hand now my motherboard won't turn on. It has all the aura lights going around the cpu ready light green on the led on the start button on but when I press that button or the power button on the case nothing is happening at all. I tried the taking ram out putting it back in, double checked the cpu to make sure it was seated right. I was able to jump the power supply so I know the power supply isn't what's wrong. I did try to update the bios to see if that would work still nothing but it did update the bios. I'll attach a picture of the motherboard with the lights on.
  10. I was told that I would need them for the whole build by someone else plus a third splitter for the drain
  11. I think I counted wrong but you could be right I will double check it to make sure thanks ! Hmm what do you mean by static extender, whats the difference?
  12. Okay Thank you I will keep all of this in mind, I will also post a picture of all the parts in here once I have thought it all through and see if it is right.
  13. Okay thank you, I will keep it all in mind, I hope to be moving onto hardline soon, I will post a picture in here off everything I will buy before hand thank you all for the help.
  14. How close should I have it to the res ?What do you mean stagnant fluid? I am going to be using spare tube I have left over. I am actually currently using the blood red from EK but was told by someone that I would still need a silver coil in as well.
