  1. "worth: is a personal opinion,If I was still working,dropping 5G's into a build was nothing.
  2. And that Samsung 500G is an M.2,connects directly to the Motherboard in case ya didn't know
  3. Naa,2 8G give you room to expand to 32G's if u want later
  4. lets see if this saves http://pcpartpicker.com/list/HxVckT
  5. Go 1 SSD like a Samsung 850 Evo or Pro,maybe even a 1Tb one.Hell, that thing has M.2 SSD support make it a Samsung 950 pro 500G one. And only go with 2x8= 16G DDR4 3200 Corsair Dominator as an example.or the Gskill triden z,F4-3200C14D-16GTZ Go with the HX750i or the HX850i PSU And go with just a single good quality GTX 1080 H100i is a fine AIO cooler. Everything else is fine, So what if its "Overkill" to others,If you have it,spend it.
  6. On all my AMD's I've only ever just used the Multiplier. My old 1100T was at 4.0ghz for years. my 8350"

  9. This would be a good compromise: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813132565
  10. Been using AMD for years, built many systems and have never used DDU or any registry cleaner, nor does anyone I know.
  11. DDU is not needed! Just uninstall the current drivers through control panel, shut down, install new GPU,boot and install new drivers,as simple as that.
  12. Did you buy the CPU new or used? Well, recheck everything, all power connections etc.Otherwise from what I was reading while googling,it's gonna be tough, but most show Motherboard failures and a few CPU ones. Since yours works with the i3,gonna say its probably the CPU. Good luck.
  13. I had the Sabertooth rev 1,on my last system, still going strong, before that tried 2 CHV Motherboards and both failed. So this time I tried the CHV Z version a few months ago, lasted about a month, another fail, so changed it over to a Sabertooth Rev 3.not 1 single issue yet.Gotta love the Sabertooth boards.
  14. you need bios 1504 to read that CPU.forgot to quote you so you get the notification
  15. Here ya go,and the R3.0 also does support them(I own that one). The 970 pro gaming Aura does not. and yes,the CPU itself draws 220 watts itself.
  16. As for ASUS,The Crosshair V Formula Z and Rev 2 and Rev 3 Sabertooths do support the 220Watt Cpu,And it is not just the cooling, the board has to be able to with stand the CPU's power draw of 220 watts.,the VRM's especially . "The real kicker is the 220W TDP reportedly attached to both chips. AMD's top Vishera-based CPU, the FX-8350, has a TDP of only 125W. The step up to 220W is huge, and I have to wonder just how many Socket AM3+ motherboards can even deliver that much power reliably"
  17. @IAEInferno Stick with a top quality name brand,FSP is just trying to get back in the market,so I would wait on them for awhile, Buy the best you can afford gold or higher.Corsair,EVGA,seasonic currently I'm running the Corsair HX850i and love it.
