  1. I guess not, it should be fine for 150mbps internet right? The range will be probably one room (max of 2 thin walls) arround the router). I'm currently near Warsaw (Europe, Poland) if it comes to finding stuff from near shops.
  2. While i do have an old computer, i'd rather have something not eating up like 50Wats per hour. Thanks for suggestion. Is there anything closer to 60-70$ range that you could "recommend"?
  3. Isn't the pixel count of 1440p screen like really similar to the 2560x1080 when it comes to same inch size? (like, the former one will have few ppi more?)
  4. Saw that one as well. I'm sitting about 50-60cm from my monitor. Also thought of 29'' cause i do a lot of programming and that "screen separation" might come handy
  5. Kind of like it, but completly unavaible anywhere near me.
  6. Found new ones selling for that much in my area. Thats why i thought its a really good deal. Do you mean that 2560 x 1080 is the stretched 1080p? I thought that its fine for modern gaming. Yea i saw that one as well. No idea if theres any other difference than freesync. About to investigate And indeed its 30$ cheaper.
  7. Hi there. In my current setup i'm in need of a router that would be used as a "proxy" to send data from my modem (which sadly got weird connection limits on wifi). Are there any suitable options for sub 50$ price that i could use? (I need two ethernet outputs as well, pref gigabit)
  8. Hi there. Looking for new monitor i found this one for about 290$ (US) or 320$ (where i live, ie in Europe). http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29UM68-P-ultrawide-monitor Anything that comes in your guys mind that competits with the price? Things i'd like: - all the eye saving techs (im spending about 8-10 hours a day in front of it, mostly reading, so everything that helps is highly welcome) - 1080+p experience (anything above 1080p is fine) - IPS (movies! ) Let me know guys. Also lmk if you think this is a good deal. Edit: My primary focus are: work (programming) / movies. With some modern gaming in mind (bf1, dota 2, mostly mmo's)
  9. Hello there. I want to do a dual boot setup of windows 10 / some linux distribution on my pc's SSD. Now, my question is, i have a secondary drive, that should be accessable for BOTH operating systems (it will act as a general storage for movies, photos, games, etc. etc.). What encoding i should use for that drive? Second question, which linux distribution would you propose for that dual boot? I'm mostly looking for safety (often updates), looks and possibly as little "preinstalled" stuff as possible.
  10. From what i heard depends on ur copy and/or your social skills (know people whose keys didnt work after mobo change, but they kind of SE'd the key from MS, with BS like their mobo broke etc.)
  11. Seems its all good. Just ran the complete test. Passed with no errors. Running a second loop just to be sure (i wont use my pc for next hour or two so might as well just leave it) but it seems it works perfect. So again, thanks for help.
  12. Depending on the game, both cards have their pros. Both are good options, personally would go with 1060, but its just a preference (don't like the rx 480 power draw problems, althrough no idea if they were fixed in the sapphire).
  13. Does Windows 10 loader partition "position" matters? I have Win 10 installed on one drive (SSD) but the loader partition got created on the other drive (HDD) does that matter? What if i do Windows/Linux dualboot?
