Did anyone try to do Bangood kit / Aliexpress copper gpu block with rx 4/580? Planning on buying waterblock from aliexpress / bangood. On Ebay listing info it says that 53mm gpus are compatible. It' not really a problem to drill some holes in the gpu waterblock, but if it's too small to drill holes it's a problem!

What do you recommend from that 10 bucks more? And what do you think about deepcool one, is it honest in amp ratings?

Hello everone, how are you? I`m in dilemma. Should I upgrade my cpu cooler or my psu? Specs: q6600, hd 6570, msi g41m-p28, 3.5 hdd, 2.5 hdd, 12cm fan running on 5v instead of 12. PSU : ZEUS 500w with 24 amps on 12v rail (kind of no name psu) The beginning I hate noise that my pc makes. Main noise maker is psu. It has 60 or 80mm exaust fan that runs on 12v at max power. Other little helper is intel 775 stock cooler for Celerons (half height). Cpu runs at 70 to 90 degrees Celsius under load. It throttles when it gets to 93 deg Celsius (I tortured it under cinebench and aida). My bios is not latest and in never bioses it is stated that cpu throttling is improved but I don`t want to brick my mobo by flashing bios or by missing power from the wall. My budge is around 25 bucks and I`m from Serbia. The most popular psus In Serbia is Lc cower lineup ( they are german and they make other pc related stuff). In the last few years new company came into the market: NJOY. Now since my budget is 25 bucks I can buy some low end psu from either of them. Here you go, my choice: THE FIRST : LC600H-12 V2.31 20 amps on 2 12v rails, 8 pin and 6 pin THE SECOND : NJOY 500WGX 20 amps on 2 12v rails, 8 pin *THE THIRD : DEEPCOOL DE480-BK 25 amps on 12v single rail, 8 pin A word about this Deepcool one. This one has lower power output, right? The catch Lc power has maximum (peak) rating, so it is not representing real world and continuous output. NJOY has no reviews so I don`t know if it is peak or continuous (lc is the most popular psu here so it has a heap of comments about it, they say that it is good, but some say that it is bad). Deepcool has lowest amperage, but it has single rail (if they say so). My psu has 24 amps on 12v rail. But if I spend money on psu I want a little upgrade not just noise reduction. I`m not too optimistic about deepcool BUT who knows, maybe it has the most realistic output of these three. I read in comments that people ran some crazy stuff on lc but it is all in Serbian. Now let`s get to the cpu. I tested to see (or hear, who knows) the noise of the intel stock coller. It runs at 100%. It is audible, kinda, but it makes noise higher pitched (idk if I made it with pitch, i`m not native speaker). I want to upgrade my gpu first, it is probably smarter to preserve some of that c2q. I can buy lc-cc-120. It is in range of hyper 212 evo. There is no direct comparison but there is comparison with aidor and aidos is compared against evo. Lc cooler is about 20 bucks. And finally conclucsion. I can buy only one thing, psu or cpu cooler. I would like some better psu but I don`t have the money. Cpu coller will probably serve me for years but there is still noisy psu for one more year. If I get some used gpu, and my friend is willing to sell me his hd 6970 for 40 bucks or less I will need some pretty good psu for both q6600 and that hd 6970. Lc power has pcie 8 and 6 pin, but who knows if it has what it takes to run these two. And one more thing. Many said that Lc has thin cables. If you made it, thank you. I would appreciate your honest opinion. Let`s ROLL.

Can you trick windows to think that 1 core has two threads, while it only has 1 core and 1 thread?

I want to buy some cheap pre built pc and there are some good deals for core 2 duo pc's (they are going above 30 euros). I want to know if this is able to play 1080p videos, or 720p, on youtube because that igpu is very low end. And of course can it play league of legends? Techyescity Brian did lol testing on this igpu but there is NONE who made it into 50 fps on this igpu. At least i was not able to find that benchmark.

I do not want to update bios cus i will lose warranty. One more thing is that the temperatures are probably visible (check out science studio on youtube, he overclocked xeon). My point is that i saw base clock modifications on asus and msi sites with out of the box mothrerboards, just like asrock. And about the ram overclocking. I am not an expert and i do not know if you can use xmp on b150 and h170 motherboards.

Hello everyone. I am planning to buy a pc and it will probably be an intel side. After that fiasco with bios updates astock released their b150 gaming sth. and h170 performance sth. HYPER. Allow for non-k overclocking. But then i went to asus and msi sites and they have their own technology on z170 motherboards that allows base clock to be changed. I do not know if their technologu allows for non-k overclock. If anyone owns some of this boards feel free to comment and leave some useful information. This will be useful to me because i will be using only integrates graphics and faster ram means more performance. Asrocks motherboards that i mentioned support some memory (samsung and kingston) overclocking nlbut i do not know if i woll be able to find that specific one.

This is a quick one. I'm not sure which chipset can overclock amd fx cpu. Can all chipsets overclock, is there a limitations?

One more thing. I saw dx 11 vs 12 and i saw diagrams that show cpu core usage in gaming. You should checj out that thing. Sorry but i forgot exact video.

100% legal, it came with notebook. I will tell you what he told me. With every update windows becomes more demanding. Before me, someone came with that svchost issue and he coincidentaly knew about that. I will probably call him today and I will maybe upgrade to windows 10. He said that 10 runs like a beast on lowest end notebook like this. Beware: it barely runs system. It cannot play youtube in chrome normally. Oy one core at 1.5 ghz.

Hello everyone. I have a toshiba notebook with amd e-240 processor. So this problem happened twice already. It took him about 2 hours to finish all stuff when turned on. First cause was failing hdd. But second time i gacmve it to friend and he told me to stop updating and he cleaned some malware. But the most important thing that ge did was to disable certain update. After that the boot time was less than two minutes. The process svchost.exe is taking 95% of cpu. Then comes trustedinstaller.exe and msmpeng.exe ( microsoft security essentials) is working too. This thing is happening again and there is only 1 reason why, i did not do anything else that could affect system. The volume icon went missing and i already solved this before by activating some reg file. And that us it. If someone knows that update he can tell me and i would really apreciate it.
