  1. If you are using F21, then yes. It has been supported since F20
  2. Really all those are is specs of what the monitor itself is capable of. This will all depend on your GPU. 4k at 120hz is just saying you can run 4k whatever at 120 frames per second comfortably. But still, what GPU?
  3. So I have my Modem then it goes to my home router. Is it a good idea to put a pfSense box behind the router, so its Modem > Router > pfSense? Or does this not make much sense? Reason why I am wondering about this method, is I do not want to mess with my families router settings, and I want have pfSense for my personal stuff like servers.
  4. As for your GPU, this depends on what resolution you are playing, as 4k will generator more heat than 1080p, Uncapped frames will also generate more heat. I have a 60hz monitor, and a 6900XT and it rarely goes above 75C at 4k when I turn on the vsync or cap it at 60fps in game. As for the processor, it could be getting that hot because the GPU is right under it, and could be sucking in some of the heat off the GPU. And that again also depends on the games which are more CPU demanding.
  5. I currently have 2x 4TB WD CMR NAS 5400rpm NAS drives. I am looking to upgrade and switch to Seagate drives since where I live they are cheaper and also have the same warranty from what I see as well as the SMR drives that WD has done I don't want to risk it. These drives power my Plex server and local storage. I am thinking about getting 8TB and up to hold more local storage for multiple people at home, as well as expand my plex. What is the real difference between Ironwolf Pro and Ironwolf Pro NAS drives? I see similar warranties, as well as slightly cheaper for the NAS drives but the depends on the capacity. My NAS can hold up to 6 drives, so either one I think is fine as the Pro can be up to 8 drives, and then Pro NAS can be up to 24 Drives. Any recommendations for 8TB+ drives from seagate?
  6. So I have a Ryzen 5800x, and I do video editing, video encoding, and games. I have a Gigabyte Aorus X570 motherboard, 4x 16GB RAM and a 6900 XT GPU Prices of the 5900x and 5950x have come down enough I am considering to get one at these discounts. The 5900x is 309$ right now, and the 5950x is 439$ right now. Is the extra 4 cores for the 5900, and the extra 8 cores for the 5950x worth the extra money? I will most likely sell the 5800x if I decide to upgrade. Cooling is not an issue.
  7. Get a 7950x. Save the 200$ and get a good cooler and actually be easier to cool properly. Intel has been crap the last few gens with their top tier to cool. Linus did a video on it somewhere that you loose the performance for how hot intel runs.
  8. I have many containers yes. Does this mean that I am using 65% of my ram for dockers?
  9. So I am not sure what this is, but why is "Docker" at 65%? What is docker?
  10. I wouldnt recommend overclocking an X3D chip. Let it do it by itself
  11. Just more bandwidth. I personally find 2 sticks more stable.
  12. Based on cooling performance and your bios settings yes. It will clock higher if given the chance and workload.
  13. Looking at the 2, they both have the Radeon 8 core gpu. Personally, the Onex looks better on paper. But as Its a device that I am not familiar with, the steamOS was designed for steam, but as you mentioned that the OneX runs windows, which could help with game compatibility as steamdeck uses a custom linux.
  14. I did do this a few times yes. I cleared the cache, and then also tried another browser. same thing
  15. I have 5 drives in my array, and the power went out all of a sudden (I actually just tripped over the power cable and unplugged it), and after turning everything back online, there are no stats. However, all my VMs and Dockers spin up fine (plex, adguard, etc). Is there a way to fix the blanks?
  16. Some of them yes. Depends on who is watching.
  17. Is there a way to make a ramcache on unraid for plex transcodes? I have been looking around and some of the help has been to use "/dev/shm" but I am not sure if this works. My system has 32GB of RAM and was hoping to maybe get 8GB or so for a plex transcode ramcache.
  18. Thats awesome! Thank you very much. I will be adding that second drive this weekend.
  19. I have 1 drive (Drive_01) in my Unraid server right now, and I was wondering if I bought a second drive and named it (Drive_02) and put it in parity with (Drive_01), would that wipe the data on Drive_01 and have to rebuild at the same time?
  20. Not that I am dissing apple, by chance is there something similar as they are Android users?
