  1. Seems that the CPU requirements are quite low... Specs: CPU: AMD Athlon X4 620 @ 2.6 GHz GPU: Sapphire Dual-x R9 280x RAM: Random cheap RAM 2x 2Gb + 2x 1Gb Capable
  2. Found a solution : Used Rufus 2.7 to create a GPT Installation USB. Now installing windows. Learn every day
  3. I tried to make a GPT installation USB drive but now I get a disk read error.
  4. Restart does not work for everything But thank you
  5. Hello Right now I am working on a laptop that needed a clean install of windows... At first I had a problem that I could not make a partition from unallocated space but I managed with that. But now I have 3 partitions: Drive 0 Section 1 ( 253,9GB of free space) Drive 0 Section 2 ( This is where the backup is !) Drive 0 Section 3 ( 16,6GB of free space) Firstly, I can not connect Section 1 and Section 3... When deleting them the unallocated space is still separated. And the bigger problem is that I cannot install Windows on any of these - it says that "windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style." I found that using DISKPART I could fix that but then I will also lose my data, or not?
  6. I don't think I can remove the cage. I have cleaned the GPU cooler (I might wanna try to change the thermal paste). I'l try to make a better custom fan curve.
  7. And yeah.. One more thing that I noticed. when the fan speed is from 25-32% is hear a small ticking like sound. I have always though that it's because something is starting to resonate at this speed.
  8. Fans that I have : Back : 12cm fan Front : 12cm fan (But the HDD cage seems to nullify its effect) CPU: Strange/cheap Aluminium cooler with 2x8cm Noctua fans. GPU: Sapphire Dual-X And I am quite certain that it's the GPU that is loud under pressure. I just raised the fan speed to 60% using msi afterburner and it gets very loud.
  9. Hello I have been rocking a R9 280x for couple of months now and I am loving it! At first a had a small case so the card ran hot and very loud. But now I have a Deepcool Tesseract with a lot of free space.. because of my mATX mobo. But the card is still running ~70 degrees under load and fans are running at 60%, which is really loud. Is there anything I can do to lower the loudness?
  10. I am one of those lazy persons who has not yet mastered blind typing... And because I am a programming student and like to play games at night(in darkness) I would actually need a keyboard with back-light. I am pleased with my mice but it is technically not mine and I should give it back to the owner so a Tesoro mice would be a nice gift for a cs gamer also.
  11. I enabled these settings that you outlined. But my GPU runs still at 870 MHz when benchmarking.
  12. Here are the results when my GPU is at default clock speed (1020Mhz). During the test MSI afterburner showed that my GPU was running at 870 MHz 100% of the time: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7144812 Result after OC'ing to 1125MHz : http://www.3dmark.com/fs/7144998 And again... GPU running only at 870 MHz
  13. Now I really need help. I ran some more benchmarks. So I started with 1120 MHz OC and ran Firestrike and Furmark getting results like these: Then I checked my MSI HM and saw that my GPU was running only at 870 MHz. The temps were not that high reaching max 80 degrees. Then I panicked and hit the MSI reset button and restarted my PC. And then ran furmark --- The score was now better but still I noticed my core freq. dropping as low as 709 MHz and only for couple of seconds it ran at it's base 1020 MHz. I hope it's not a GPU fault... Can my Acer motherboard be at the fault? ( Acer RS780M08A1-1.0-8EKSHX AM3/AM3+ Motherboard )
  14. I know that my CPU is bottlenecking much. But I don't need a better CPU. Don't get me wrong here.. I want one but i just don't need. But nevertheless CPU was loaded for ~40% so this should not affect Furmark scores at least at this scale.
