  1. I tried this one: https://github.com/openintents/sensorsimulator Was hard to find one and I don't know if it is able to do what I need really. I wanna simulate bumps to simulate steps/unit moving since the counter in an app I am testing has a custom one. This does not seem to work
  2. I would need to be able to emulate values from sensors. Is this possible? I found an old app from 2016 but DL is gone and I bet android has changed so much it wouldnt work. Any new version?
  3. Oh it's the frikkin Microsoft Teams updater Microsoft teams is a god damn virus so not surprised it looks like one..
  4. Found this weird process in taskmanager called "Program" which sounds a bit fishy. How can I see what it is?
  5. Oh yeah that one I must have done too. Will try again forgot if I did EDIT: Did not fix it
  6. Win 10 I am getting constant timeouts errors when sending DNS requests. When using the Windows Troubleshooter it says everything is dandy. It's not my router as this is the only device having problems. It also affects some games as I guess they are using domain names instead of IPs. I have tried the following: 1. Tried both my ISP DNS and 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 2. ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew ipconfig /flushdns netsh int ip set dns netsh winsock reset 3. Full scan with Kaspersky Internet Security 2022 Pro 4. IP pingtest to verify DNS issue Ping statistics for 1.1.1.1: Packets: Sent = 99, Received = 99, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 2ms, Maximum = 15ms, Average = 2ms Please help with suggestions, I'm out of ideas :S
  7. I have worked as a refurbisher (10.000 units repaired) I can always buy damaged and do my own repairs
  8. Jailbreak and keep when needed. Thats what I do with my old androids. Root them
  9. I am looking to buy my mother a tablet. I don't have a reference of which snapdragon is acceptable as I'm trying to spend as little as possible (<2000 SEK about 220USD) because she usually never use my tech gifts... If she likes it we can look at a more expensive in the future when she know if she likes big screens etc. just dont want the first one to be a laggy mess. As it's often not the same prices/models in Sweden as in the us/ca we better talk chips instead. I think google translate works for this swe pricehunting site im using: https://classic.prisjakt.nu/kategori.php?k=1594 So what should I look for? RAM i'm thinking 3gb+ should be enough
  10. Maybe raid my dual 250gb 850 evos (MSFS is eating space) and get a good 250 NVME for OS and another 500GB-1TB good SATA SSD. I do have a huge HDD cable problem with already 6 drives installed in SATA. Yes I know I need a NAS but I dont have the money.I think I have more SATA slots but I hate buying SATA cables and it's double-sided tape to fit it somewhere as as all slots are full. No big problem but m.2 would be so nice. PS. Heavy pre-load games are horrible on HDD. Rust: 10-20 min server connection load time depending on RPM etc w HDD. 2 min max on SSD
  11. Yeah I dunno really what windows need out of disk speed. With enough CPU and RAM a good SATA SSD seems to do fine handing over what needs to be used to RAM. I haven't turned off any services with Winaero either as I remember. I know it exists but can't be bothered turning off services as it works fine and sometimes they are needed like the store. Love to turn that off but sometimes devs release it on the store like my MSFS license. Might have done some visual fix or something. Only thing I think of could be search indexing only I see as a problem but they might have fixed that. I did disable it on W8 because I use Search Everything. And I think i tried to disable indexing on W10 and don't know to what extent I succeeded. But the few searches i've tried to do in explorer has been so slow I had to use Search Everything so I think that disk speed hogging indexing service is pretty offline.
  12. As games are getting bigger I need more space so I need yet another drive. I have been buying good cheap deals on 250GB's SATA SSDs but it's enough it's time for a 'big' 1TB M.2 I was thinking about going for the Kingston A2000 1TB as that is the biggest bang i can get for €100 or I cans shell out €30 extra for a Samsung 970 EVO Plus haven't decided yet. My question is: Do you think I would notice the difference if I used said m.2 as OS (Win) disk? Or is it too much of a hassle and I should just install it and throw the games on there. And keep running my 850 Evo as solo OS disk. Keep in mind if I would use it as OS disk I would partition it and run the game from it at the same time. No biggie I guess for such a fast disk but always nice to keep OS on its own disk. I am a hater of the lag it drives me nuts. But after getting beefy CPU and RAM I do very well on my 950 Evo SSD can't say I run in to lag as only like browser and main programs like AV and most other needed sh!t for mouse etc in the taskbar (besides launchers) is running from this disk. Games are on other SSDs of similar speed or on old slow mechanicals depending on game. Like DOTA 2 can manage a Mechanical disk whilst Rust cannot.
  13. Yeah of course I dunno why I dragged batteries into this ANC headphones baby = noise ain't an issue That's good to know the silicon can take it. This makes full sense. Hope I got them good caps. I don't see any problems if a cap would fail as long as it does not damage the card. I can easily replace a cap if that would happen. I've never had anything fail. But am usually not running constant high loads either just many years of constant use. It's the classic electronic gamble I guess. I've repaired 10.000 phones so I know some just fail while the most survive for years. I never saw a working phone in my job but I've never had a problem with my phones ever. Yeah I guess a fan could be a first problem. Not a big problem tho easily fixed.
  14. When it comes to batteries I know the biggest culprit of degrading is heat (and cycles) But what about a GPU? If you run it at 100% 24/7 but manage to keeps temps at 40-50c will it 'degrade' less than if at say 70c?
  15. Hello LTT experts, I purchased 1yr Kaspersky Internet Security as I am a Kaspersky fan (mother Russia take my info!) But instead on 1 yr I somehow got 2. So now I feel stuck with Internet Security for 2 years. However I am unhappy with the firewall part and screenshots of Glasswire looks promising. Would there be any issues running both Kaspersky IS and Glaswire simultaneously?
