  1. this is on low settings. chaning to ultra makes the game lose maybe 10 15 fps
  2. so im getting 40% gpu and 60-75% cpu but around 80 fps using afterburner to monitor it
  3. Hi ya played another game. Cpu load is around 75% temps 56 degrees, gpu is around 40% again 55 degree low temps but i only get 70 -100 fps? why is it not pushing to get more frames idk if im being an idiot or something. And as you say to overclock when i was building my pc i got a h97 motherboard so cant overclock cause my budget was low at the time.
  4. Hi all just got a rtx 2070 and was playing apex legends and i get around 120 fps if i put it all on low settings. now im guessing its my cpu that is causing the low fps as with my gtx 970 i was getting 90 - 100 fps. my current cpu is i7 4790k 4ghz am i correct in saying this?
  5. think i fixed it. Took the gpu out and used my hair dryer to clean up all the dust. also cleaned out the pci slot. i then also changed the power cables connecting to the gpu seems to be all good now. dont know what one fixed it but it looks like its working
  6. ok without tweaking any settings so +0 for clock speed its sat at a constant 1163. launching a game does not crash it but will make it drop to 500 - 900 clock speed
  7. installed it but not sure what you ment by non game speed. currently the clock speed is 1163 with no game running without tweaking the settings
  8. Hi, I'm having an issue with my GPU. whenever I start a game the clock speed drops dramatically for my GPU. I don't know why. the temp is only 64 so can't be that. Read somewhere could be a power issue but I don't understand. thanks for any help at all. had this issue before but is getting worse
  9. i dowloaded HWinfo, give you info on your hardware. says when running some games that "performance limit - power = yes" so i assue its using to much power? tried upiung in overclock but didnt seem to work ;/ psu i have - Corsair CP-9020015-UK Builder Series CX750 ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit, 750 W
  10. i have now done a fresh install of windows 10 and the problem still exists could it be the PSU? read something that say it might be because its not using 100% of power it only uses around 80%
  11. tried going 110% power, no other software installed, already have max power performance in control panel
  12. very latefor me and so i must sleep, leave some ideas ill try them all then get back to you tomorrow
  13. yer did it straight after boot, when up to 1300 1400 closed it opened it again 700 ;(
  14. o maybe not its gone back to what it was before!!!!
