Hey guys, as stated in the title, i am building a wooden case., I'm going to salvage the side that the motherboard mounts to as well as the back "plate". I will mount this to the wood to act as a ground. I don't want to keep the metal the ugly grey color, I'd like to paint it maybe black or tan. I don't know much about grounding and whatnot and I don't know if paint would affect the ground from the power supply. Please help me decided if I should use paint, it it will affect my components, and what paint I should use.

Do you guys think AMD will ever release CPUs that aren't trash in comparison to Intel, or will continue to sell better price to performance chips that can't compete?

I need help picking out a z97 motherboard. I want a reliable, not too expensive mobo with adequate features, that's atx. Black or red color themed, or unless you can find me a kick ass deal, I'll take whatever colors. My first choice was the g1.sniper. Also, the main point of me asking you guys is because I know for sure that I want a 4690k. I'm trying to keep my mobo, cpu and ran well under $400 as I still need a headset and case to buy. I already have one stick of ddr3 1600 gskill ripjaws ram.
