    Z170 for gaming with 6700k would be very nice build. if you on tight budget then Z97 or H97 if you not over clocking.

    Seconed question is are you going to just game on it ? 

    Because both have there pro and cones. For game Skylake CPU and haswell-E are the same in performance. .
